<p> A man persistently calls out to a high school girl. The girl runs away when the stranger grabs her hand. The man chased the high school girl for about 50 meters before committing the unforgivable act.</p>
<p> On October 29, the Metropolitan Police Department&#8217;s Shakujii Police Station arrested Tomohiko Ito, 25, of Nerima Ward, Tokyo, on suspicion of robbery and sexual intercourse without consent. It is alleged that he sexually assaulted a high school girl, A, who was on her way home.</p>
<p><span class="strongInContent"> The alleged incident took place after 6:00 p.m. on September 11. Ito approached Ms. A, whom he did not know, on a street in Nerima Ward and asked her, &#8220;What grade are you in? and grabbed her hand. Ms. A was startled and ran away. The suspect chased her for 50 meters.</span></p>
<p><span class="strongInContent"> After catching up with her, the suspect took Ms. A into an empty condominium and threatened her, saying, &#8220;If you don&#8217;t want to be killed, you should take off your underwear. If you don&#8217;t want to be killed, take off your underwear! The suspect then took Ms. A to a deserted condominium. The suspect sexually assaulted Ms. A for about 10 minutes, took her underwear, and fled. The police have not revealed whether the suspect is guilty or not.</span></p>

<p> In August of last year, the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department arrested a man in his 50s. A bicycle collided with another bicycle on a street in Nerima Ward, and the man riding the bicycle and a woman in her teens fell over. The man stuffed up the bicycle, saying that the basket of the bicycle was broken. He then took the woman to a nearby parking lot and indecently assaulted her, saying, &#8220;If you pay me with your body, I&#8217;ll make it even. The man admitted the charge, saying, &#8220;There is no doubt about it.</p>
<p> If a woman feels insecure, she should not try to deal with the situation alone, but go into a nearby convenience store or yell for help.</p>
