Jin Akanishi Heads Home with a Beauty After Live Performance

The heartthrob of the Heisei era continues to charm women in the Reiwa era as well.

Around 7:30 p.m. on October 6, singer Jin Akanishi (40) appeared at a hidden restaurant down a narrow alley in Ebisu (Shibuya Ward). Wearing blue wide jeans, a black shirt, stylish color glasses, and with his fluffy hair, he blended seamlessly into the nighttime streets of Ebisu.

Akanishi held the “JIN AKANISHI WEEKEND LIVE 2024” at Tokyo Garden Theater (Koto Ward) from October 4 to 6. He performed a total of 21 songs, including new tracks, captivating around 24,000 fans over the three days. During the final performance, his longtime best friend, Ryo Nishikido (39), made a surprise appearance. They also announced that their joint project, “N/A,” will hold an arena tour in June next year, which excited the audience.

On the last day, after the concert, the group headed to a high-end yakiniku restaurant favored by celebrities, where they held a post-show celebration in a VIP room. Surrounded by friends and associates, Akanishi seemed to enjoy A5-grade Wagyu beef.

Around 10:30 p.m., three hours after entering, Akanishi appeared from the VIP room’s private entrance, exuding a captivating aura as he casually ran his fingers through his tousled hair. As the after-party ended, more guests, including Nishikido, emerged from the building. The two then got into the same car and disappeared into the deepening night.

Currently living between the U.S. and Japan, Akanishi’s career has significantly shifted since his 10th anniversary of independence last year. Entertainment reporter Chikako Komai explains:

“During the 10th-anniversary live held in June last year, he allowed media interviews, a rare move for him, and even personally visited Johnny’s office to handle copyright matters for video usage. In May this year, he also announced his participation in a Netflix project starring Shun Oguri (title yet to be revealed). By joining a Netflix production, which boasts a top-tier membership in the U.S., he has the chance to make his presence felt not just domestically but globally. This may be a part of his steady preparations for a full-fledged return to acting, in addition to his career as an artist.”

 

With a beautiful woman with an exotic face.

After leaving the restaurant, Akanishi and Nishikido headed to Nishi-Azabu (Minato Ward) for what appeared to be an afterparty. When they got out of the car, they seemed to have difficulty finding their intended venue, walking around with their phones in hand. Eventually, they arrived at a building, took the elevator, and headed up to a wine bar on the top floor. It seemed like this was the location for their second party.

After some time, a variety of women, including a woman with long hair, a dancer-type beauty, and a model-like woman, entered the same building one after another. Around 3 a.m., the women started to exit the building, followed by the men, including Akanishi and Nishikido. After exchanging words with Nishikido, Akanishi got into the waiting car alone.

The car seemed to be headed home, but it stopped near a nearby intersection. Soon, a woman dressed entirely in black, blending into the darkness, approached the car. Upon closer inspection, it was the exotic-looking beauty seen earlier at the wine bar. She was wearing a black bell-bottom set and high heels.

It seemed they had made a time-delayed rendezvous, as the woman quickly got into the car when the door slid open. After a short drive, the car stopped in front of Akanishi’s apartment. The woman, followed by Akanishi, got out of the car. The sound of her high heels echoed as they disappeared into the building.

“Akanishi, who announced his ‘Christmas divorce’ from actress Meisa Kuroki (36) last December, has always preferred foreign or mixed-race women, even before he married, and has dated many of them. Having lived in the U.S. for a long time, it may be that his personality matches better with women like this,” said a sports journalist.

FRIDAY sent an inquiry to Akanishi’s agency regarding his relationship with this woman, but they received no response by the deadline.

The man, now in his 40s and a confirmed bachelor, still maintains his charm and allure, with even more energy and appeal than before.
