Large Amount of Child Pornography Revealed by Former Child Care Worker
The real motive is behind.
In the first part of the article, “Former Childcare Worker Arrested Seven Times for Indecency Against Pupils, ‘Sexualized’ and ‘Horrifying Motive’ Spoken in Court,” we discussed the shocking motive revealed in court by Nagikumi Osada, 27, who was arrested and charged with sexually assaulting seven preschool children.
“The police found nearly 600 images and videos of child pornography on the computer you were using, right? And they found nearly 2,000 child pornography images and nearly 400 child pornography videos in the iCloud data on your iPhone, which you used when you were in high school?”
When the prosecutor asked, “Yes. I’ve heard that from the police, and it aligns almost exactly with my memory,” admitted defendant Nagumi Osada (27) candidly.
Nagata is accused of sexually assaulting seven children (A-G in the order of indictment) at two licensed nursery schools in Tokyo, where he worked, and filming the assaults, and is charged with forcible sexual intercourse and violation of the Child Pornography Law.
He said that he became aroused by child pornography when he was in high school and began collecting images and videos. The seized images and videos showed girls ranging in age from pre-school to high school.
For some time after his arrest, Nagata told police interrogators, “I was sexually abused by my family. I thought that if I did the same thing to the preschooler, I might understand how the family felt, so I did it.“ When questioned by the prosecutor about the truthfulness of his statement, he once refused to answer, saying, “I don’t want to answer that question,” but then asked, “If you feel sorry for the victims and their families, shouldn’t you tell the truth here?” He was instructed to say, “I thought that if I talked about it, people would feel sorry for me,” and he admitted that his motive was sexual desire.
However, he avoided stating the number of times he had committed the crimes, saying his memory was not clear, and he did not admit to having planned the crimes.
The first victim, referred to as G, claimed that she had been victimized three to four times. However, Osada stated, “I only remember one time, but just because I don’t remember doesn’t mean it didn’t happen multiple times.” He did not deny this but added, “I can’t clearly recall since I also committed similar acts against other preschoolers.” When asked why he chose F as the next target after G, he replied, “I just vaguely thought that I could do it with F. I’m sorry, but I don’t have any specific reason.”
The stories parallel each other.
After working at a daycare center where the father was the director, he did not have a homeroom class but assisted with childcare duties, and he committed the crimes during nap time. He would call the children who were awake and not sleeping to a closet or other place under the guise of warning them, blindfold them, and sexually assault them.
He admitted that he had called C-chan, who had told him that there were no plastic rail parts, into the closet for the purpose of committing the crime, but denied it to the other four children , saying that he had only called them out to warn them. However, he denied that he had called the other four children, saying that he had only called them to warn them.
“I have always felt pressure to take over my family’s nursery school. I was afraid that I wouldn’t be able to stop myself as we were entering the countdown to the generational change. I couldn’t talk to anyone or go to the hospital, so I continued working in a helpless state.”
He explained that the pressure to take over the business was behind his repeated criminal acts.
When questioned by a representative of the victim’s family, he answered in a curt manner.
“If asked, ‘Did you prioritize property division with your ex-wife over compensating the victims?’ I would say, ‘I had no thought that selling the house would bring in money.’ ‘Mortgage…? I don’t understand (the meaning).’
In response to the question, ‘How do you feel about the parents who entrusted their precious children to the nursery?’ I said, ‘It’s just dangerous for someone like me who is mentally unstable; a nursery should really be a safe place and must be a safe place.'”
The defendant’s questioning came to an end without a word being exchanged.
The trial is scheduled to conclude on October 15.
