Yasuko’s Bold Comments and Low Energy Spark Debate Amid Concerns of Change

There are reports of a strange change occurring with comedian Yasuko. 

This summer, she became a focal point of controversy following an incident involving YouTuber Fuwa-chan. Fuwa-chan apologized for an inappropriate post about Yasuko and indefinitely suspended her entertainment activities.

Additionally, during the broadcast of Nippon Television’s “24-Hour Television 47” from August 31 to September 1, Yasuko volunteered to be a marathon runner for a children’s care facility that had once supported her. The total amount raised in donations reached 438,014,480 yen.

“Yasuko has been posting uplifting messages on social media, and her popularity remains high following the series of events. Clients are keenly interested, hoping to appeal to people of all ages.”

According to a representative from the agency, Yasuko was recently featured in a new commercial for Kao’s “Babu Medicure”.

Concerns are being raised about the sanctification of comedians.

That said, there are concerns about Yasuko’s sanctification.

These concerns are also being heard from her fellow comedians. During the October 5th broadcast of “All-Star After-Party” (TBS), host Hiroiki Ariyoshi responded to Kazumi Takayama’s announcement:

Ariyoshi immediately responded to Takayama’s announcement with,

 “Fuwa-chan, are you watching~?”

Ariyoshi made the comment, possibly as a gesture of consideration to ensure Fuwa-chan wouldn’t be forgotten, given his connection with her.

In the later part of the show, issues related to teasing Fuwa-chan kept coming up, and Yasuko was eliminated. Ariyoshi then,

When Ariyoshi called out, “Yasuko-chan is out too!”

Yasuko gave an awkward smile as she responded.

“Fuwa-chan, are you watching!?”

Ariyoshi waved his hand and called out.

Teasing Fuwa-chan was premature.

Yasuko bears the heavy burden of the Fuwa-chan suppression cross on her back. To be freed from it, Fuwa-chan would need to resume her talent activities and be accepted by the public, but that prospect seems uncertain.

Recently, Yasuko has started caring for a five-year-old rescue cat. For the time being, it seems that her cat will be her only source of emotional healing.
