“Jungle Pocket’s” Saito Shinji confronted over infidelity issues. What was this apology about? (2023)

The comedic trio “Jungle Pocket’s” Saito Shinji (41) has been referred to prosecutors on suspicion of non-consensual sexual intercourse and non-consensual indecent acts after allegedly committing sexual assault against a woman inside a location bus. In response, his wife, talent Seto Saori (36), countered on her Instagram, leading to a significant uproar online.

“Some reports are different from the facts.”

Saito has reportedly acknowledged the allegations and expressed apologies to the victim and his family, but Seto seems unsatisfied with the portrayal of the situation:

“While this incident has been reported as sexual assault, there are some inaccuracies in the reporting. I have heard that the victim has filed a complaint based on the claim of non-consent. The facts are that there was mutual interaction with the other party, and it is true that we followed each other on social media and exchanged contact information. We have requested the police to analyze the drive recorder and cameras from the location bus to clarify that this was not a one-sided act.”

Seto appears to be questioning the “non-consensual” aspect. While there are voices of concern for her in the comments section of her Instagram, there are also many criticisms, such as:

“I think a third party who wasn’t present should refrain from commenting, even if they are a spouse.”

“The way it’s presented seems to imply that the victim is at fault.”

“How can she say this when he has acknowledged the allegations?”

There have also been numerous voices of criticism.

“Statements that raise doubts about the victim in a sexual assault case should be approached with caution. Victims often adopt a submissive attitude to protect themselves from the perpetrator. This becomes a significant point of contention in court; just because someone appears to be not resisting doesn’t mean the incident is ‘fabricated’ or that they were set up” (a television station reporter).

Friday magazine has reported on Saito’s infidelity allegations twice in the past, but this time the incident came to light after the woman consulted the Metropolitan Police Department about the assault.

Friday has reported Saito’s alleged infidelity twice before, but this time the incident came to light after the other woman consulted the Metropolitan Police Department about the damage.

The victim said, “There is absolutely no way I can forgive her.”

“I absolutely cannot forgive.”

The woman who was victimized reportedly said this to the investigators. Sexual assault is fundamentally different from infidelity issues. Since non-consensual intercourse is not a crime that requires a complaint, the decision to prosecute rests with the prosecution.

Yoshimoto Kogyo announced the termination of its contract with Saito on the afternoon of October 7, citing suspicions of a serious breach of contract.

Saito, who has long been rumored to have a bad reputation with women, may have only his wife left to defend him at this point.
