Backlash from Saito Shinji’s Wife’s Defense Claiming It Was “Not a One-Sided Act”
Shinji Saito (41) of the comedy trio “Jungle Pocket” was charged with non-consensual sexual intercourse and non-consensual obscenity for sexually assaulting a woman on a location bus. In response to this, his wife, TV personality Saori Seto (36), responded on her Instagram, which has caused an uproar on the Internet.
Some of the reports are not true.
Saito has admitted to the charges and has apologized to her partner and his family,
Saito has admitted to the charges and has apologized to the other party and his family. I have heard that the other party has filed a damage report for non-consent. The facts are that the other party had acted in a certain way, and that they had followed each other on SNS and exchanged contact information, and we had asked the police to analyze the drive recorder and cameras on the location bus. We were telling them that it was not a one-sided act,” said Seto.
Seto was not convinced about the “disagreement” part. While some commenters on Instagram expressed their concern for Seto’s situation, others said, “Even though she is my wife, the third party who is not at the scene is not there,
I think it would be better if a third party who is not present at the scene, even though she is his wife, refrains from commenting on the situation.
I don’t feel comfortable with the way she says it, as if the victim is at fault.
“Even though she herself has admitted to the charges?
There have also been many voices criticizing her, such as, “I don’t feel comfortable saying that the victim is at fault, too.
In sexual assault cases, we should be cautious about making statements that raise suspicions about the victim. Victims often adopt a compliant attitude of “obedience” to protect themselves from their assailants. This is often a point of contention in court, but the fact that the victim appeared to “not want to” does not mean that the incident was a “fabrication” or that the victim was “set up. “Just because it looked like she didn’t want to do it doesn’t mean the case was ‘made up’ or ‘framed'” (TV news reporter).
Friday has reported Saito’s alleged infidelity twice before, but this time the incident came to light after the other woman consulted the Metropolitan Police Department about the damage.
The victim said, “There is absolutely no way I can forgive her.”
I can never forgive her.
The woman who was victimized is said to have told investigators this. Sexual assault is of a completely different nature than the issue of adultery. Since nonconsensual sexual intercourse is not a crime of adultery, it is up to the prosecutors to decide whether or not the case will be prosecuted.
On the afternoon of October 7, Yoshimoto Kogyo announced the termination of Saito’s contract with the company, citing “suspicion of a serious breach of contract.
Saito has long been said to have a bad taste in women, but at this point, his wife may be the only one who can defend him.
