<p>The incident occurred in the early morning hours of September 28, just before 3:00 a.m. A group of criminals, who were said to have applied for a black market job, smashed the window glass of the first floor living room of a house in Nerima Ward, Tokyo, with a tool and broke in. They allegedly beat a man in his 50s and his son in his 20s inside the house, injuring them and threatening them, saying, &#8220;Give us money or give us something of value! They then threatened to &#8220;give us money or something with money in it!</p>

<p><span class="strongInContent"> After ransacking the interior of the house, the suspects attempted to flee the scene. However, one of them was seized by neighbors who learned of the commotion, and another was taken into custody by police officers who arrived several hundred meters away from the house. In the afternoon of the 28th, police found a truck believed to have been used in the crime in Setagaya Ward. The man who was driving the truck was arbitrarily accompanied by a police officer.</span></p>
<p><span class="strongInContent"> The suspect, Shunki Endo, 22, of unknown address and occupation, was first seized by residents. The Shakujii Police Station of the Metropolitan Police Department arrested the Endo suspect on suspicion of burglary and breaking and entering. In addition to the three in custody, at least two others are believed to be at large,&#8221; said a reporter from the society section of a national newspaper.</span></p>

<p>A photographer for this magazine photographed the real face of the Endo suspects at the police station where they were sent for questioning on September 29. He emerged from the police station as a seemingly &#8220;normal young man&#8221; with a slender build. When he noticed the press, he turned his head and got into the convoy with a blank expression on his face.</p>
<p><span class="strongInContent"> The group of criminals who applied for the part-time job did not seem to know each other. The suspect is said to have made the following statement during police questioning: &#8220;Five of us went to a family restaurant to meet. I don&#8217;t know who the other suspect is, but he is my friend. The suspect Endo is said to have expressed his fear that he would be killed if he was caught.</span></p>

<p>In many cases, the black market job offers good terms such as &#8220;10 million yen for robbery&#8221; or &#8220;1 million yen per day,&#8221; but once you get involved, you will find yourself in a quagmire of fear.</p>
<p><span class="strongInContent"> The instructor asks applicants to send a picture of their face, driver&#8217;s license, and other forms of identification. <p><span class="strongInContent"> In fact, some of the perpetrators have stated that they were visited by a stranger at their home out of the blue, and that they thought they were being watched. I&#8217;ve joined a terrible organization. Some of the perpetrators have not only had their remuneration reduced, but some have not been paid at all.</span></p>
<p>In addition to the troubles in Nerima Ward, incidents of what appear to be black market job robberies are occurring frequently in Kokubunji City, Tokyo, and Tokorozawa City, Saitama Prefecture. It should be kept in mind that the perpetrators are &#8220;disposable&#8221; by the instructing officers.</p>
