NHK’s hit TV series “Tora ni Tsubasa” finally reached its final episode on September 27. Various comments were posted on the web, such as “I cried a lot,” “For the first time, I watched every episode of a morning drama without fail,” and “In a good way, it was a perfect final episode that I didn’t lose interest in.

In the second half of the episode, there was discussion about the revision of the Juvenile Law and the murder of Miiko, and some said that it was too heavy, but it was a refreshing final episode that blew away all that noise,” said Takahiko Kageyama, a professor at Doshisha Women’s University and a media critic.

The average household rating from the first episode to the final episode was 16.8%, surpassing the ratings of the previous “Boogie Woogie,” “Ranman,” “Soar! Tora ni Tsubasa” outperformed its predecessors, “Boogie Woogie,” “Ranman,” “Soar! Kageyama attributes the success of “Tora ni Tsubasa” to the script by Erika Yoshida.

The way she portrays the characters is very distinctive. Each person was carefully drawn, and all the characters stood out. Moreover, they are not all perfect people. Torako, who tends to be righteous, and who could never be a good father. Hoshi Voyage I. Nodoka, who ran away from her grandmother with dementia, until the very end. Katsuraba, who failed to understand women. …… In addition to pleasing the audience, I could sense Mr. Yoshida’s strong belief as a scriptwriter that he wanted to appeal to something in the world”.

Not perfect, but somehow lovely. On a September day in Tokyo, many famous characters from “Tora ni Tsubasa” were gathered together. The launch of the drama was held prior to the final episode.

From left to right: Totsuka Sumitaka (played by Todoroki Taichi), Doi Shiori (played by Yamada Yone), Matsukawa Naoruki (played by Inagaki Yuji)

Torako and her fellow students who studied law together at Meiritsu University continued to support her as her friends and colleagues after graduation. Taichi Todoroki (Sumitaka Totsuka, 32) and Yone Yamada (Shiori Doi, 32) established “Yamada Todoroki Law Office. They took on the case of Miiko, who was charged with the murder of a classmate, and saved her from heavy punishment.

At the launch, the two were seen chatting and laughing with Naoruki Matsukawa (33), who also played a classmate.

From left to right in the back: Yuki Sakurai (37, played Ryoko Sakurai), Rinko Ando (played Chiharu Nakayama), and Ha Young Soo (33, played Kangsook Choi / Kako Shiomi).

After graduation, Torako’s seniors from the Myeongryul University Women’s Club both went on to pursue the path of law they had set out to pursue, and some did not. …… There was a touching scene in which these female students, who had gone on to different walks of life, gathered to celebrate Torako’s remarriage.

Ryoko Kobayashi played Satoko Kubota, Torako’s senior.

Unlike senior Chiharu Nakayama (Rinko Ando, 32), who cried a lot, senior Satoko Kubota (Ryoko Kobayashi, 34) always acted stout-heartedly. She continued practicing law for a while after her marriage and childbirth, but quit her job and moved to Tottori, where her husband’s family lived. At that time, she insisted to Torako that being a woman lawyer was just a rarity and no one wanted her, but it later turned out that she had continued to practice law in Tottori.

The senior members of the Meiritsu University Women’s Club also attended the launch, of course. Ryoko Kobayashi attended wearing a fresh see-through top.

Kenichi Takito played Koshiro Tanegawa. His casual clothes are fashionable.

Koshiro Manikawa (Kenichi Takito, 47), Torako’s boss at the Family Court Preparation Office, was a unique individual who performed waterfall exercises and grilled surume at work. He was passionate about the family court and spoke strongly against the revision of the Juvenile Law to Torako and others on his sickbed.

Ono was played by actress Koharu Sakai (left), whose parents are TV personality Masaaki Sakai and Misato Okada. On the right is Sairi Ito, a close friend from the same office as Sakai.

Tomoko Ono (Sakai Koharu, 30), a court clerk who addresses an agitated suspect in Korean during a trial for arson by Koreans, has a sad past in which her parents opposed her marriage to her Korean lover. She overcomes this and later has a “friendship marriage” with a colleague.

Makana Ozaki played the role of Nodoka Hoshi. She won the role through an audition.

Nodoka (Makana Ozaki, 23), the eldest daughter of the Hoshi family, is puzzled by her father’s kindness to Torako’s daughter, Yuumi. The father I know is a man who puts work first and is not good with his family. He never goes to festivals or the beach, he never holds hands with his children in the entrance ceremony photos or invites them for a walk.” Her words were laced with jealousy toward Yuumi. She has always smoked secretly outside her house, but as her relationship with her family improves, she no longer needs to hide her cigarettes. Nodoka’s “cigarette pose” became a hot topic on the Internet. It became a hot topic on the Internet.

At the launch, Takihito was dressed in his own fashionable clothes. Koharu Sakai was seen enjoying herself with her best friend Sairi Ito, and the cast members’ “charm” was also seen at the launch.

It seems that the “Tora ni Tsubasa” loss will continue for a while.
