Takeru Satoh Spotted Filming Netflix Drama in Tomigaya

In the ongoing sweltering heat of Tokyo’s Tomigaya, Takeru Satoh (35) was layered in a turtleneck shirt, hoodie, and a thick long coat. Next to him, a beautiful woman wore a coat with a scarf wrapped around it.
Surrounding them were crew members in short sleeves and shorts, holding equipment, seemingly about to break a sweat just from watching the two.
“In the drama, Satoh serves as both the lead actor and co-executive producer. He reportedly personally recruited a star-studded cast, including Masaki Suda (31), Keita Machida (34), and Jun Shison (29). The beautiful woman next to him is Yu Miyazaki (23), a newcomer he discovered during auditions. That day marked the wrap-up of filming after eight months.”(entertainment industry executive)
Temperatures soared close to 40°C. Each time a cut was called, Satoh placed an ice pack on the back of his neck and gently closed his eyes to cool off. Nevertheless, whenever staff tried to take photos of the two with their smartphones, he instantly adopted a cool expression, showcasing his actor’s spirit.
After finishing the last scene, Satoh hugged the director while holding a bouquet handed to him by the staff. Despite never sitting down during filming, he gently lowered himself onto a ledge, showing a look of relief.
“It’s said that cast members in Netflix productions are not allowed to take on other jobs during the shooting period. The pressure on Satoh, who also serves as a producer, is immense. In January, it became news when he called for extras through his official LINE account, which has over 5.1 million subscribers. That was a clear sign of his determination. This project is undoubtedly his biggest since becoming independent from his agency, and his commitment to it is incredibly strong.” (producer from a major network)
Satoh is fueled with passion for “the next stage,” almost enough to blow away the sweltering heat.
