Due to the “verbal attacks” directed at Yasuko, Fuwachan (left) has been forced to suspend her entertainment activities, and Kanou from “A Masso,” who is said to be the “mastermind,” is also involved.

It has been just over three weeks since YouTuber Fuwachyan suspended her entertainment activities due to an “inappropriate post” about comedian Yasuko.

During this time, Yasuko completed the charity run for “24-Hour Television 47” on Nippon TV. The fundraising for support of child welfare facilities exceeded 400 million yen.

On the other hand, the program did not mention Fuwachyan at all. Although the series of events had been fading over time, the behind-the-scenes details have now come to light.

The incident began when, on August 4, during the Paris Olympics, Yasuko posted on X (formerly Twitter).

“Yasuko Olympics: Just being alive makes everyone great, so everyone is a winner!”

That’s what I posted.

In response to this, Fuwa-chan made a provocative comment, which led to a huge backlash. However, it was actually Kanou from the comedy duo “A Masso” who found Yasuko’s post.

According to the August 31st issue of “NEWS Post Seven,” at that time, Fuwa-chan was traveling with Kanou and Shintaro Morimoto from the comedy trio “Tontukatan.” It was here that Kanou found Yasuko’s post and showed it to Fuwa-chan.

“What’s up with this post?”

It is said that Fuwachan misunderstood it as a “cue” from a senior and ended up making the problematic post.

Regarding this, Fuwachan herself explained on her X account on the 8th of last month:

“At the time of the post, I was talking about anti-comments. I accidentally came across Yasuko’s post and wrote about the content of the post in question with the intention of saying, ‘If there are anti-comments on this.’ I showed the screen to those present, but I made a mistake in the operation and ended up posting it for real.”

She explained this, and at the same time, Fuwachan emphasized regarding Kanou and Morimoto:

“The two were not involved with the post in question.”

She emphasizes that…

“Fuwachan’s post was entirely her own idea, and she did not receive any instructions from anyone. However, we don’t understand why Kanou chose Yasuko’s post as a topic for the comedy challenge. Since Kanou has remained silent, this remains unclear.”(A sports newspaper reporter said)

Regarding Yasuko’s “Victory!” post, an entertainment industry insider said:

“To be honest, from a comedian’s standpoint, Yasuko’s post is puzzling. I ended up finding it ‘funny’ after a while (laughs). I completely understand Kanou’s feelings of ‘What’s up with this post?'”

Morimoto pointed out.

The other Morimoto did not participate in Kano and Fuwacchan’s “Oogiri Corner,” and instead watched the two who were getting excited.

“Stop it already!”

It is said that they had warned them explicitly.

“At that point, no one was even considering that it would cause a huge controversy. It’s quite common among comedians to have fun and get excited by responding to each other’s posts.

The biggest mistake was publishing it publicly after making an error. That’s the crux of the issue. Although there are voices questioning Fuwachan’s character, she probably didn’t post it with such serious intent.” (according to a TV station insider)

In response to the rising public criticism, ‘Post Seven’ reports that the talent agencies of Fuwachan, Kanou, and Morimoto held discussions on how to address the situation. It is said that Kanou’s agency, which wasn’t fully aware of the situation, strongly insisted on not disclosing names.”

“It’s important to note that it was not Kanou-san himself, but rather the agency’s representatives who were involved. Kanou-san seems to believe he bears some responsibility, but it appears the agency imposed a gag order.” (according to the aforementioned sports newspaper reporter)

While there are voices online treating Kanou as the “mastermind,” that seems a bit excessive. Instead, within the comedy world, the concern is more about the potential negative impact on jokes about Yasuko following the incident.

“There’s worry that it might become harder to joke about Yasuko. She herself does not wish for that.” (according to the aforementioned TV station insider)

Be concerned about

When will the unprecedented, massive controversy come to an end?
