Why Snow Man fans are digging up on Huwa-chan’s “inappropriate behavior.
YouTuber comedian Huwa-chan is in danger of being banned from the entertainment industry for his “outspoken post” against comedian Yasuko. After the incident, Snow Man fans have been digging into Huwa-chan’s past behavior.
What triggered Huwa-chan’s suspension was a post on X (formerly Twitter) on August 4. On August 2, in the middle of the Paris Olympics, Yasuko posted, “Yasuko Olympics, I’m great just by being alive, so everyone wins” (original text in Japanese). You are not a great person, so please die.
After deleting the post, Huwa-chan apologized on the evening of April 4, saying, “I’m really sorry, this is not the place to report this, but I said something I shouldn’t have said and it hurt him. ‘Did you mean to post this on X’s back account? ‘You always say things like this on your back account. It’s disgusting,’ ‘I’m so disgusted,’ and ‘I don’t like it,’ were the negative reactions one after another, and it caused a huge uproar.
Amid the flood of criticism of Huwa-chan, some Snow Man fans on the Internet seemed to recall his behavior in the “Let it be Snow Man” special (TBS) broadcast on July 26. In this program, Snow Man members Ryohei Abe (30), Huwa-chan, and former host and businessman ROLAND (32) went to the U.S. and went on location to sneak into areas that are usually hard to enter.
When they visited the Los Angeles Museum of Natural History, one of the largest museums in the U.S., a little incident occurred. The group entered a facility that studies dinosaurs and extinct animals, and was told valuable stories by the local staff. Then Abe interrupted the conversation and asked, “May I have a word with you? He interrupted the staff’s conversation and said, “Hey, Hwa! Don’t put your cell phone on the fossil! He warned them, “Don’t put your cell phone on the fossil! Abe is known for his mild-mannered personality, so it was a rare moment for him, even though he was on location for a variety show.
Snow Man fans who recalled this scene after the incident with Yasuko voiced the following harsh comments one after another.
Fuwa-chan, when you went to the American museum with Abe-chan and the others in “Itsukosuno,” you placed your personal belongings proudly on top of precious fossils, and Abe-chan got really upset with you, which made me feel better. I was scared of Abe-chan at the time, but he had every right to be.
He often gets involved with Suno, but I really don’t accept him, especially after what he said this time, and when he put his own smartphone on top of the precious fossil at the museum and Abe-chan got mad at him. I don’t want him involved in Suno.
I really like the fact that he was so careful with Huwa-chan in “Itsuko Suno”. That’s Abe-chan!
I know she was warned by Abe in “Sore Sono Snow,” right? I hope they don’t work together again.
On September 7, “Ariyoshi’s Summer Vacation 2024: 77 Hours in Hawaii” (Fuji TV), a special program featuring Tatsuya Fukasawa (32) of Snow Man and Huwa-chan, is scheduled to air, but fans are afraid that it will be cancelled due to Huwa-chan’s disturbance. The show is scheduled to air on Fuji Television.
On August 11, Huwa-chan updated X and apologized again for her outburst. As of August 27, Huwa-chan’s name is listed in the performer information section of the official website for “Ariyoshi’s Summer Vacation 2024,” and a commemorative photo of her is also posted. Of course, there were things that Huwa-chan said and did that she should have regretted, but since she did not commit a serious criminal act, the program itself is probably being adjusted to be broadcast as it is.
After a certain period of time, if Huwa-chan were to return to the Japanese entertainment industry, would there still be a place for her there?
