<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Around 4 p.m. in mid-August, Christina Aguilera (43) stepped out of a black Alphard that had stopped at the Tokyo Station rotary. She has returned to Japan for the first time in 17 years to perform at SUMMER SONIC 2024.</span></p>
<p><b>&#8220;Aguilera spent her early childhood from ages 3 to 6 in Sagamihara, Japan, due to the influence of her father, who was a U.S. military serviceman. Her first single during her early, less-known period was &#8216;All I Wanna Do,&#8217; a collaboration with Keizo Nakanishi, known for her deep connections with Japan.</b></p>
<p><b>Her debut album &#8216;Christina Aguilera,&#8217; released in 1999, sold 14 million copies. She has won five Grammy Awards and her total album sales exceed 75 million copies, still reigning as one of the world&#8217;s top divas&#8221; (music magazine editor).</b></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">This time, Aguilera visited Japan with her family. On this day, she was traveling by bullet train to Osaka for her concert. Aguilera, who is 156 cm tall, was followed by her fiancé, Matthew Rutler, and beside them was their 10-year-old daughter, Summer Rain Rutler. When fans pointed their cameras at Aguilera, she waved and showed a beaming smile, saying &#8220;Hi&#8221; with great happiness.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">During her live performance, Aguilera delighted her Japanese fans with a setlist of hits, including &#8220;Ain’t No Other Man,&#8221; &#8220;Fighter,&#8221; and songs from the movie &#8220;Burlesque.&#8221; We look forward to seeing what kind of happy shots she will share next time.</span></p>
