She did not take on classes as a homeroom teacher, but assisted with childcare duties.’ He was arrested on January 17, ’24 for sexually assaulting a preschooler, but was later re-arrested several times when it was discovered that he had repeatedly committed similar crimes.
Through his own statements and a report from a parent who saw the news report, it was revealed that he had also committed indecent acts against children at another nursery school where he worked from ’17 to March ’22. He was arrested seven times for crimes committed at these two day-care centers,” said a reporter from a national newspaper.
The trial began on June 6, 2012, and at the fourth hearing held on July 26, the two incidents at the day-care center where Nagata was a homeroom teacher – indecent assault on F-chan and forced sexual intercourse with G-chan, etc. – were examined. The aforementioned reporter from the social media reported on the indictment. The aforementioned reporter from the Social Affairs Department explains based on the indictment.
In late September 2009, Nagata called out to F-chan, who was playing with other children on the third floor of the day-care center. When he was alone with F-chan on the staircase landing, he blindfolded her with a bandana and committed an indecent act. Around the end of 2009, when the other children moved to another room for extended care, he was alone with G. He took her under the piano, which was in the blind spot of the security camera in the classroom, and made her sit there before committing an indecent act. Unlike the other children at the school, G was not blindfolded with a bandana.
In her deposition, F’s guardian stated the following.
‘Why did my daughter have to go through this? Every day was a struggle for me as I wondered what I should do if my daughter got hurt again by hearing from her, and all I could think about were the unanswerable questions. I felt so sorry for my daughter that she had been unable to tell me for two years and had kept a lid on her heart for so long.
He did not hide his outrage that Nagata had even shown up at her elementary school’s athletic meet after F-chan’s graduation.
He said, “Even after my daughter graduated from nursery school, the defendant came to the elementary school’s athletic meet, and with a nonchalant look on his face, he said, ‘She’s getting cuter and cuter. I can’t sleep at night thinking that my daughter was looked at as a sexual object both in nursery school and after she entered elementary school. (omission) When I think about my daughter’s future, I cannot help but worry that something serious may happen to her in the future. Even if the culprit gets the maximum sentence, I cannot forgive him. I hope that the culprit will be punished with the heaviest possible penalty.
According to the affidavit, G-chan’s parents were aware that their daughter was attached to Iwata, but they were distrustful of her.
She said, “From the time my daughter was in preschool, I thought she was a habitual teacher, a teacher who talked only about herself. However, my daughter was very attached to the culprit, and when I picked her up, I saw her jumping on him and playing with him.”
Like the parents of the other victims, the statement was tied up with a strong sense of anger.
Like the parents of the other victims, he concluded his statement with a strong sense of anger: “My daughter was harmed this time, and I hope that the perpetrator will go to hell right now. I am so anxious about how my daughter will be affected in the future. I don’t want to see the culprit again for the rest of my life, and I don’t want him to ever appear in society again, so please punish him severely.”
In all seven cases, Nagata admits, “There is no doubt.
Nagata chose to work at a day-care center even though he was aware that he was a pedophile. How did this “devil,” who worked with such conviction, hear the anger, fear, and suffering of the parents?
