The aftereffects of the love affair reports involving Haruka Ayase and Jesse from ‘SixTONES’ continue to cause a major shock to the TV network.
Whenever there were dating reports about Ayase in the past, her agency, Horipro, always denied them. However, this time, they made a comment acknowledging the situation for the first time, saying, ‘We leave private matters to the individual.’
“There are points of concern regarding the age difference of a decade and the fact that Jesse has been debuting for less than five years, in terms of celebrity status, but it is said that Horipro has finally given the OK for marriage. It seems that the comment of “Thank you very much until now” is also included for Ayase, who will turn 40 next year after becoming a top actress following her career as a gravure idol. It appears to be more about the timing being right than who the partner is” (sports paper reporter).
That said, it seems the TV industry is not entirely in a celebratory mood. There appears to be some confusion in the commercial TV variety sector.
“From the executives at the Tokyo-based stations, the producers of variety shows have been given an “order” not to let Jesse and Sanma meet!” (broadcast writer)
What does this mean?
“Ayase has long been known as one of Sanma’s favorite actresses along with Masami Nagasawa and Ayame Goriki. When there were love affair reports about Nagasawa, Sanma was exaggeratedly disappointed on various programs. When Goriki was open about her relationship with Yusaku Maezawa, Sanma made a joke about it on every show, shouting, “Bring Maezawa on the show!”
As a result, Maezawa had to go to Sanma’s favorite high-end yakiniku restaurant to greet him. Maezawa, being a fan of ‘Oretachi Hyokin-zoku’ (Fuji TV), seemed to be pleased, and Sanma was quite satisfied, saying, “He was a good guy from the ‘Hyokin era.'” Since then, Maezawa has been invited to Sanma’s shows” (previously mentioned broadcast writer).
