Fuwa-chan Faces Online Criticism Following iPhone Exposure and Controversial Comments

“I don’t think there are many contracts that require you to use the product you appear in commercials for. For example, even if a super popular actor appears in a commercial for a compact car, they might drive a foreign car in their private life. However, since this incident led to the termination of the commercial, it might have looked even more like she paid back a favor with malice,” says a TV station insider.

In this outburst controversy, Fuwa-chan’s past actions and statements are being revisited.

Additionally, not only Fuwa-chan’s behavior toward Yasuko but also the criticism from May by the comedy trio Nelson’s Aoyama Fall Katsu, who pointed out Fuwa-chan’s bad manners on an airplane in a video channel, has also been re-highlighted.
