— It has been about five and a half years since Ms. Nagao graced the cover of Friday.
I am very happy to be on the cover after such a long time! I myself have grown up, but I would like to continue to do gravure that is uniquely my own.
—This time you wore 6 outfits. Are there any that stand out in your mind?
I like the black lingerie outfit with the turtleneck over it. During the shoot, I talked with the crew about what they liked about the outfits.
I asked them, “Which do you like better, tight-fitting clothes like turtlenecks or off-the-shoulder tops that show off your collarbone and cleavage? The result was that the male staff members liked turtlenecks better than off-the-shoulder tops. As a result, many of the male staff members were in favor of turtlenecks (laughs). (Laughs.) We took this picture with a turtleneck, which is rumored to be a male favorite, so pay attention!
I will continue to take on new challenges!”
—You celebrated your 30th birthday in March this year. Is there anything new you would like to challenge yourself with?
“ Actually, I will be producing an idol group called “Kapu♡Churu” starting this summer. This is my new challenge! I have gone from being on the side of idols to the side of producing idols, and there are a lot of things I don’t understand. ……
I myself am having a lot of fun right now! I hope I can pass on what I have learned as a producer. I’m sure there will be many obstacles ahead, but I hope to overcome them together with the other members, so please give me your support.
—Lastly, Ms. Nagao, you have experienced many gravure shoots. Is there any theme you would like to shoot in the future?
I would like to do cosplay! Actually, I have never done a proper cosplay before. I would consider this a new challenge and would love to try it someday!”
