<h3>Three months after his divorce, the up-and-coming international political scientist who has disappeared from the public eye showed a &#8220;reason for his smile&#8221; at &#8230;&#8230;</h3>

<p>The elegant hotel is located near the Imperial Palace and Hanzomon Gate. Around 9:00 p.m., as night began to fall, a woman stylishly dressed in a navy blue one-piece dress emerged from the entrance. Next to her is a tall, middle-aged man in a suit.</p>
<p>The two, who seemed to be in a friendly mood, smiling repeatedly as they talked, got into a cab that they seemed to have called via an app. Sinking into the back seat was Rurei Miura, 43, an international political scientist.</p>

<p>Mr. Miura had just announced his divorce from Kiyoshi Miura, 45, a former businessman, in April.</p>
<p>A reporter from the society section of a national newspaper said, &#8220;Mr. Kiyoshi is a business tycoon.</p>
<p><span class="strongInContent"> Mr. Miura was divorced while Mr. Kiyoshi was arrested and detained by the Special Investigation Department on suspicion of embezzlement in the course of his duties. After Mr. Kiyoshi&#8217;s arrest in March of last year, Rurei disappeared from television, dropping all of his regular appearances on terrestrial programs. However, she seems to be in a good mood these days, perhaps because her speaking engagements are going well. At journalist Soichiro Tahara&#8217;s (90) birthday party earlier this year, she wore an all-white pants suit beautifully and wore a smile to the event.</span></p>
<p>Let us return to the beginning of the story. The cab carrying the two was headed for Nishiazabu, Minato-ku. After getting out of the car, they entered a high-class sushi restaurant with a reputation for nigiri made with home-brewed salt.</p>

<p><span class="strongInContent"> He is Ryuna Kanamura, 45, a member of the House of Representatives of The Japan Innovation Party, who was first elected to the House of Representatives in the &#8217;21 lower house election. Before becoming a member of the House, she was enthusiastic about welfare, running eight child welfare facilities, and is highly respected within the Restoration Association. He has been called the &#8220;Hope of the Next Generation.</span></p>
<p>The two did not come out of the restaurant even after the closing time was posted, and when they finally came out of the restaurant after 11:00 p.m., they looked at each other with smiles on their faces, and the atmosphere became even more intimate.</p>
<p>When they reached the main street, Councilor Kanamura caught a cab and got in. However, Miura did not get in the taxi with him, and their &#8220;sushi date,&#8221; which lasted until late at night, came to an end.</p>

<p>When we inquired at Mr. Kanamura&#8217;s office, he told us through his secretary that he would give us an answer by the deadline (three days from now), but we never received an answer. We then rang the council member&#8217;s cell phone and sent him a short message, but received no response. The same question was sent to Mr. Miura, but he also did not respond.</p>
<p><span class="strongInContent"> Mr. Miura said, &#8220;I heard that they stayed together until midnight, but I don&#8217;t think it was a relationship between a man and a woman. Mr. Kanamura is married and a father with three children. At the study session that day, during the question-and-answer period, he and Mr. Miura hit it off in an exchange about &#8220;pension reform. I think they may have changed places and continued the policy discussion.</span></p>
<p>On her SNS, Ms. Miura described her divorce as &#8220;graduation from married life. The smile she showed on that day revealed the &#8220;freshness&#8221; of being free from her ex-husband&#8217;s scandals that had marred her illustrious career.</p>
