Star-Studded Men’s Gathering with Masaki Okada, Tokio Emoto, and Motoki Ochiai
Even after 9 PM, with temperatures exceeding 30 degrees in the tropical night, three colorful individuals walked in a row. One wore a yellow T-shirt with a custard-colored beret, another sported yellow sunglasses and fluorescent orange wide pants. The man in the center was dressed entirely in black, but his T-shirt featuring a prominent Marilyn Monroe print stood out. While their fashion was unique, their looks were also distinctive. Local residents were particularly captivated by the handsome man in the center.
“Could it really be Masaki Okada (34) walking the streets without any disguise.”
Walking on Okada’s left side, who was dressed entirely in black, is Tokio Emoto (34), while on the opposite side is Motoki Ochiai (34). The arrangement is so glamorous it could easily become a scene from a movie.
“They had come together to a popular yakiniku restaurant frequented by celebrities and athletes, with signatures plastered all over the walls. Despite its fame, the prices were reasonable, making it popular among locals. Okada and Ochiai sat side by side, with Emoto seated in the prominent position. They seemed to be having a great time, and it was clear they were close.” (said a customer who was there)
After leaving the yakiniku restaurant and walking for a while, the three entered a café and took a seat on the terrace. As soon as they were seated, Okada removed his glasses. His fair skin and refined features bathed in the café’s lights emitted an unusual allure. While passersby stole curious glances, the three friends continued to enjoy their conversation.
The three actors have been appearing together in the drama “Kinshicho Paradise Shibuya kara Ippon” (TV Tokyo) that started on July 12. As this scene shows, they also maintain a close friendship in their personal lives.
“The main cast of ‘Kinshicho Paradise’ includes these three, along with Kento Kaku (35). This isn’t the first time they’ve worked together. During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, the four of them formed the ‘Gekidan Nenichi’ theater troupe and gained attention for their unique remote performance ‘Skin Record,’ which was streamed using video calls. In fact, this group has known each other since their teenage years and used to meet almost every week in their early twenties. The opportunity to star in a drama together came about when Emoto, who also serves as a producer, proposed the idea, and the others agreed enthusiastically. Emoto reflected on this in a newspaper interview, saying, ‘The dream we talked about in our early twenties doing something interesting has finally come to fruition in our thirties.’” (shared an entertainment reporter)
As friends from their youth have grown into leading roles and come together to pursue their once-shared dreams, the conversation flowed endlessly, and the three enjoyed a perfect night into the late hours.
