Yuchami’s Second Photo Book Title Revealed, Featuring a Stunning Impactful Bikini Look

On September 4, 2024, talent Yuchami will release her second photobook, published by Kodansha. The title, “Chami Summer”, and the cover shot have been unveiled.

Yuchami described the title as “simple and a bit silly, which suits us perfectly (laughs).”

The cover photo features an eye-catching shot of Yuchami wearing a striking shell bikini.

During the preliminary discussions, Yuchami shared many ideas about the outfits she wanted to wear. 

The first suggestion she made was this shell bikini. This style is reminiscent of the famous shell bikini worn by gravure model Kumiko Takeda in 1989. For the modern version, Yuchami opted for a chic design featuring a bikini top with sophisticated black stitching, paired with low-rise denim shorts..

 

This shot was taken around 6 PM on a beach in Miyako Island, just as the sunny day was transitioning to evening. Yuchami wore long extensions to give herself a more sophisticated look. During breaks in the shoot, she would peek at the monitor and excitedly exclaim, “Wow, this looks amazing! So cute!”

This special scene, filled with deep meaning, can be fully appreciated in the photo book. Also noteworthy is the recommendation comment on the book’s obi, contributed by actress Kyoko Saito:

Since their first collaboration in a television drama aired last March, the strong bond between the two has become apparent.
