50-Year-Old Ryoko Shinohara Dazzles at Japan Jewelry Best Dresser Award
On July 12, the “Japan Jewelry Best Dresser Award” ceremony took place in Tokyo, where Ryoko Shinohara (50) was honored in the 50s category.
Shinohara appeared in a sleek black mini dress, which seemed to highlight the jewelry she wore. While she had around 50 million yen worth of diamonds, including a necklace and rings, it was her long, beautiful legs that captured the audience’s attention even more.
“The awardees included notable figures like Kanna Hashimoto, Mai Shiraishi, and MEGUMI, but Shinohara’s stunning legs stood out significantly. It’s been 17 years since she won the award in the 30s category in 2007, so her poise and presence were impressive and commanding” (Sports newspaper reporter).
On social media, praise for Shinohara’s legs included comments like, “Definitely, Shinohara has the most beautiful legs,” and “Simply amazing! Totally justified beauty.” Shinohara commented:
“I don’t have many opportunities to wear jewelry. I often wear it for work, but this level of expensive jewelry is the first since 2007.”
She laughed and said,
“I hope to age as gracefully as the jewelry.”
Spoke about their aspirations
Ryoko Shinohara has been known as the epitome of a “cool female protagonist” in shows like “Unfair” (Fuji TV) and “Haken no Hinkaku” (NTV). In the April drama “Yips” (Fuji TV), she played a deliberately “troublesome” protagonist, taking a different approach to her usual coolness. While this showcased her range, fans hope to see her return to her signature coolness in her next project.
