Blushing Face with Close Friend Declared Yuriko Yoshitaka, Star of ‘Hikaru Kimi e’, Heads Off Slightly Tipsy

In early June, on a night in Azabu-Juban (Minato Ward), a striking pair stood on the streets: actress Yuriko Yoshitaka (35) and her self-proclaimed close friend actress Rin Takanashi (35). Known for their love of alcohol, the two appeared slightly tipsy, with a hint of blush on their faces.

“Yoshitaka-san wore a purple shirt with white wide-leg pants, in a rather casual attire. Despite being at a busy intersection without any particular disguise, no one approached them,” (Eyewitness).

The imposing presence of the historical drama actress seemed to deter anyone from approaching them, and they safely caught a taxi to Takanashi’s condominium.

“Yoshitaka and Takanashi deepened their friendship after co-starring in NHK’s ‘Hanako to Anne’ in ’14, and have been close enough to visit each other’s homes since then. Since Takanashi married former professional soccer player Tomoaki Makino (37) in ’18, it seems they’ve continued their close relationship as family friends,” (Sports entertainment journalist).

Yoshitaka is currently giving her all in “Hikaru Kimi e” on NHK.

“Actresses who have starred in both NHK morning dramas and historical dramas include Nanako Matsushima (50) and Aoi Miyazaki (38), making Yoshitaka the fourth. NHK’s high evaluation of her abilities is evident. While ‘Hikaru Kimi e’ struggles with viewer ratings around 10%, it has achieved the highest number of views ever on NHK Plus, showing excellent performance,” (NHK insider).

Surely, the night spent with her close friend was a good refreshment.
