In late May, Rika Adachi emerged from Nippon Broadcasting in Yurakucho after recording her show Adachi Rika’s Little &#8220;Good Things.&#8221; Dressed in a black dress and sneakers, with red socks peeking out, her fashion sense highlighted her model-like figure.
On May 27, she updated her Threads account, reporting a mishap at an apparel store where she was given the wrong item due to a foreign staffer’s mistake. After a refund and exchange, she remarked,
“Anyway, this will make the price about 30,000 yen higher, but it’s cute, so it’s fine!”
Her casual attitude sparked renewed speculation online about her rumored 37 million yen annual income. The next day, she addressed the rumor on Threads:
“I recently saw my income claimed to be 37 million yen on X. That’s not true—rather, I wish it were! Please, Horipro!”
Although Adachi&#8217;s TV appearances are few, she features in three commercials. She and TATSU, her husband of one year and a descendant of Kinjiro Ninomiya, continue to build their careers steadily. TATSU, who was appointed a tourism ambassador for Kanagawa last year, has released three singles this year and is growing his fan base. Their progress reflects the teaching of Kinjiro Ninomiya: that small efforts accumulate into significant results.
