Hirano is at the peak of his popularity, but recently he has been complaining about Miyake.

Ren Nagase of King & Prince, who had been on hiatus since May 29 to recuperate from an ear injury, resumed his activities on June 12. In May, King & Prince held an event at Kirara Expo Memorial Park in Yamaguchi Prefecture, but it was reported in the general press that visitors had difficulty returning home after the event, making major news. Recently, there was also a leakage of private sound recordings from the past, and the group has been undergoing a series of hardships.

Initially, Kimpuri was a six-member group consisting of Genki Iwahashi, Yuta Kishi, Yuta Jinguji, Kaito Takahashi, Ren Nagase, and Shiyou Hirano, who made their CD debut in May 2006 with “Cinderella Girl. However, member Iwahashi went on a leave of absence in November of the same year to focus on treatment for a panic disorder he had suffered from for many years. He left the group at the end of March 2009 without making a full-fledged return to the group.

The five-member group Kimpuri seemed to be doing well, consistently releasing CDs and going on tour. However, on November 4, 2010, Kishi, Jinguji, and Hirano announced that they were leaving the group.

They left Kimpuri on May 22 of the following year, and after leaving their respective offices (former Johnny’s), they transferred to TOBE, an entertainment agency headed by Hideaki Takizawa. They are currently active as a unit called Number_i” (entertainment writer).

Meanwhile, Kimpuri, now a two-member group, has become more cohesive and their work is more diverse. In April and May of this year, they held “King & Prince and Uchiage Hanabi,” an event to mark the end of the 5th anniversary of their CD debut.

The April 11 performance at ZOZO Marine Stadium in Chiba was a success, featuring live performances by the two.

The “incident” occurred at the Yamaguchi concert on May 22. The venue, Kirara Expo Park, was about a 15-minute cab ride from JR Shin-Yamaguchi Station, and fans who attended the event were likely to take a shuttle bus or drive there.

However, on the day of the event, traffic congestion and other unfavorable conditions meant that fans who could not catch the last train of the Shinkansen had no choice but to wait at Shin-Yamaguchi Station. On the same night, the word “refugees” (formerly Twitter) attracted a lot of attention, and netizens other than fans were wondering what the hell was going on.

According to some reports, there were more than 1,000 people who had difficulty returning home. The next day, a letter of apology was posted on the event’s official website to all visitors and related parties.

Furthermore, on the 29th and 30th, Nagase missed STARTO ENTERTAINMENT’s event “WE ARE! Let’s get the party STARTO! (Kyocera Dome Osaka). According to the explanation from his office, Nagase injured his right ear while preparing for the performance on the 29th.

After that, she had symptoms of dizziness and underwent surgery after an examination at the hospital. As a result, the company announced that it would temporarily suspend its activities (activities resumed on June 12).

The situation in Kimpuri has been a bit of a disaster, but around June 1, a new problem arose. Suddenly, what appeared to be “off-the-record talks” of the five members were leaked on SNS. It was mainly Kishi, Jinguji, and Hirano talking about “adult” videos and other “dirty talk” typical of boys around their age.

The current members, Takahashi and Nagase, were not so damaged by the content, but the fact that their private conversations outside of work were recorded is shocking to their fans.

In addition, there were other concert-related incidents and troubles that broke out concerning Kimpuri back in the day.

When they held a concert in Miyagi in September ’18, fans of Kimpli flooded Sendai Station. Some fans ignored the station staff’s warnings and stuck to the shinkansen train as the members boarded, causing a seven-minute delay in the departure of the train. Of course, it was not the fault of the Kimpuri, but the group itself was negatively affected by the inconvenience to the general public.

On August 6, 2010, during a concert by Kimpli at the Hokkaido Sports Center (Hokkai Kitaeru), a fire broke out in the venue. Fire broke out from the equipment hanging from the ceiling, and the concert was cancelled in the middle of the performance. The evening performance on the same day was also canceled, but the next day’s stage was held as scheduled.

As you can see, since their debut, KINPRISE has faced numerous difficulties. We hope that Takahashi and Nagase will continue to look forward and move forward together with their fans.
