Sayaka Kanda, actress and eldest daughter of actor Masateru Kanda and singer Seiko Matsuda, passed away at the age of 35. On Ms. Kanda&#8217;s official website, her office made the following announcement.
 Sayaka Kanda (age 35) passed away suddenly at 9:40 p.m. on December 18, 2021.

According to her office, Ms. Kanda was staying at a hotel in the city to appear as the heroine in the musical &#8220;My Fair Lady,&#8221; which was being performed at the Sapporo Cultural Arts Theater in Hokkaido from December 17. However, even on the 18th, the following day, the first day of the performance, Ms. Kanda did not show up at the venue. Ms. Kanda was found in an outdoor space on the 14th floor of the hotel where she was staying. It is believed that she had fallen from a higher floor.
 Kanda-san was a truly fascinating actress. She was active not only in movies, dramas, and musicals, but also as a singer, and won many titles as a celebrity, such as the Voice Actor Award for Best Actress in 2003.

In her personal life, she announced in April 2005 that she would marry actor Mitsuru Murata. However, in December of 2007, both parties announced on their blogs that they were divorced. On November 9 of this year, she wrote on her Twitter page about her complicated feelings.
