Marie Iitoyo Shares Overflowing Happiness of Walking Mask-Free with Husband

A month has passed since the marriage announcement on May 16th of Issei Takahashi (43) and Marie Iitoyo (26).

About two years ago, FRIDAY scooped their close relationship (at that time, Hasegawa’s agency refrained from commenting, and Iitoyo’s agency stated, “It is not true”). However, there were no reports about their relationship until their marriage. A friend of Iitoyo explained the reason:

“They have been dating for over two years. She only confided this fact to very close acquaintances and strictly asked them not to disclose it. This is because Hasegawa was reported to be in a passionate relationship with actress Aoi Morikawa (29) in ’18, which led to intense backlash from Takahashi fervent fans towards Morikawa. She was deeply concerned about this and said, ‘It must never be known, and I can’t even go outside.'”

And that’s how Iitoyo’s close friend revealed her thoughts.

Even so, during the filming of the ‘Rohan Kishibe’ series (NHK), which sparked their relationship, they also had extended shoots in Paris. It might have provided them with opportunities to spend time alone together. 

“Although they were seen going out with staff members, they never spent time alone together, according to the acquaintance mentioned earlier. It’s believed that even the program staff were unaware of their relationship.”(According to the aforementioned acquaintance)

“And it seems they were meticulous about keeping it hidden,” said the acquaintance. That’s the latest update on the two of them.

“It seems that recently, they walked together without masks in the bustling nightlife district of the city center.”

This was shared by another close acquaintance of Iitoyo.

“I heard that they walked together without masks or disguises in the bustling city center, filled with many young people. It was very thrilling for them, but apparently, no one noticed. Iitoyo was so happy, like a child, saying, ‘I was so happy to walk without worrying about people seeing us for the first time!’ She actually loves gathering with many friends and enjoying time together. It seems she wanted to introduce Takahashi to her friends much earlier. From now on, I think there will be more opportunities for them to hang out with friends together.”

Come to think of it, when announcing their marriage, Iitoyo spoke about Takahashi like this.

“I was attracted to his personality, which strives to think impartially and wisely adapt to situations, and enjoys life playfully. His smile and depth of emotion always comfort my heart.”

On the other hand, Takahashi also.

“She spoke about not giving up on living brightly without tarnishing herself with her own words. Her pure positivity, walking with dignity, has saved me many times.”

 

It seems like choosing conspicuous places to walk without disguise was also Takahashi’s way of enjoying life playfully. I wonder what kind of surprise she’ll come up with next to entertain Iitoyo
