The secret of Haruna Kawaguchi’s “successful year” – her first hosting gig at Kohaku and dating a fighter
Haruna Kawaguchi, 26, will be the host of the 72nd NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen for the first time, along with actors Yo Oizumi and Mayuko Wakuda, who played Nobunaga Oda’s wife Nohime in NHK’s historical drama “Kirin ga Kuru” in 2008, and the heroine in “Gokusyuu-do” (Nippon Television Network Corporation). Next year, she is set to play another important role in the TV series “Chimu Danshoku,” and she is expanding her career as an actress.
Kawaguchi’s partner, martial artist Yusuke Yachi, supports her both in public and private life.
Kawaguchi-san is extremely stoic. Kawaguchi is extremely stoic, and his personality is very similar to that of Yachi, who trains hard and loses weight on a regular basis as a martial artist. Both of them are very busy with their work and fights, but they have a very clear on and off schedule, so they seem to have a good rhythm in their lives.
We caught up with them in April of 2008, and they were in perfect sync! With a cup of hot coffee in hand, they were taking a walk with their dog in a shopping district in Tokyo.
Even their eccentric fashion looks good on them!
In April 2009, we encountered Kawaguchi at a photo shoot. She looked good in a dark pink set-up and green cardigan, a bizarre color combination. It was a location shooting for the drama “There’s a Reason for the Love You Dress Up” (TBS) in which she played the heroine.
Kawaguchi was filming a scene where she was walking her large dog in a fashionable springtime outfit and makeup for her glamorous role as a publicist and influencer for an interior design company living in a shared house in Omotesando.
In between her busy schedule, she headed to ……
It was March of 2008. Kawaguchi went to a beauty salon in Aoyama, Tokyo, which was frequented by celebrities. An hour after entering the salon, Kawaguchi came out looking refreshed. He hugged a woman who looked like a staff member and ran up the stairs as if he was bouncing.
Kawaguchi’s popularity is probably due in large part to the fact that she smiles at everyone without hesitation and is always full of energy, and it looks like her success will continue in 2010.
