Viral Sensation, Aichi’s Dog Look Alike of Ken Shimura’s Bakatono-sama
The dog's owner posted a "miraculous picture" on X, and it has been getting a huge response. The "mellow eyebrows" are just too cute!
“My dog’s profile looks just like Ken Shimura.”
In mid-May, owner Mr. Sugiura posted a profile shot of his dog Maro-kun (a 4-year-old male Border Collie) on his X, along with a haiku. The side profile of Maro-kun, with his white face and distinct Maro eyebrows, has gone viral among dog lovers, drawing comparisons to the late Ken Shimura, who passed away in 2020. The post has garnered over 180,000 likes, sparking a lot of buzz.
“I always thought Maro’s eyebrows looked just like Baka Tono-sama’s since he was a puppy. But no one had ever mentioned it before. When I found a convincing photo this time, I thought, ‘I’ll post it!’ and I’m surprised by the overwhelming response.” (Mr./Ms. Sugihara)
Furthermore, the owner sees similarities between Mr. Shimura and Maro.
“Maro, like Baka Tono-sama, loves women (laughs). Also, he can’t resist snacks and walks while sitting. He might also resemble him in making people laugh with his comical movements.”(same as above)
