Yusaku Maezawa is the first Japanese civilian to stay on the space station. On the ground, Hiroyuki’s Twitter feed is the talk of the town…

Hiroyuki Nishimura, a.k.a. “Hiroyuki”, the former administrator of the anonymous message board 2channel, posted his personal opinion on Twitter about Yusaku Maezawa, who is currently on the International Space Station (ISS).

He quoted and retweeted an article titled “Why Yusaku Maezawa’s ‘First Japanese Private Space Trip’ Isn’t Exciting Enough.

I think it’s because space has become familiar in a good sense, with Amazon’s Bezos and Virgin’s Branson going to space, and since anyone can go if they pay, it’s no longer a novelty.

Rather than going to space someday, many people would rather see something they will never see again, such as Honda’s comeback in the last F1 race.

He commented.

Maezawa is the second Japanese civilian to fly in space since former TBS employee Toyohiro Akiyama, and the first Japanese to stay on the ISS. Mr. Maezawa went into space with an employee of his company who accompanied him, and it is said that the cost for the two of them was more than 10 billion yen.

In an interview with a sports newspaper, Akiyama said of Maezawa’s space trip

It’s a symbol of the disparity in society. Some people are happy about it, but others must be looking at it with bitterness…”

While worrying about the people who are disgusted by the rich people’s trip, he said, “It’s a symbol of inequality.

I hope that after they return to Earth, they will be able to make use of this experience.

I hope you can use this experience for something after you return to Earth.

Anyway, why did Hiroyuki say that Maezawa’s space trip was not so exciting?

Speaking of Hiroyuki and Maezawa, they have had some battles in the past. Mr. Hiroyuki tried to call on Mr. Maezawa to implement his plan to donate computers to orphanages, but Mr. Maezawa refused to do so. Mr. Hiroyuki said

“Mr. Maezawa told me that orphanages do not have many followers, so I refused.

This is what he revealed on YouTube.

After that, Hiroyuki criticized Maezawa’s money handouts and plans to gather followers. It’s not that I’m not a good person, but I’m not a good person.

Then, Hiroyuki said

He said, “Why block someone when there is a mute function? If the other party notices, it will only cause an uproar, are there only idiots around Mr. Maezawa?

This is the first time I’ve ever had an exchange of criticism on YouTube.

In the end In the end, Mr. Maezawa stopped taking Mr. Hiroyuki seriously and went on to successfully complete a space flight. Back in the day, before he donated his computer, Hiroyuki and Takafumi Horie had a falling out over the “dumpling store incident”, but Hiroyuki still talks about Horie on YouTube.

Hiroyuki continues to send messages to Japan from his home in France. In a way, this may be his “greatest indulgence”.
