Actress Erika Toda has been making a big splash on her Instagram account with her &#8220;too-angelic sleeping face in a police uniform.
&#8220;This is the first time I&#8217;ve seen her in a movie. It is a popular drama series on Nippon Television Network that airs every Wednesday at 10:00 pm. It is based on the manga series &#8220;Hakozume: Police Box Girls Strike Back&#8221; (Yasuko), which is serialized in the manga magazine &#8220;Morning&#8221;. In the drama version, Toda plays the role of Seiko Fuji, a former ace detective with a problem, and Nagano plays the role of Mayori Kawai, a chick police officer. The two, in a senior-junior relationship, solve difficult cases. Popular actor Muro Tsuyoshi also plays the role of Shuichi Igazaki, the police station chief.
The film, which depicts a &#8220;strangely realistic&#8221; police scene in a comedic way, is currently a big hit. According to Video Research, the fifth episode recorded a household rating of 12.5% (Kanto area). On her Instagram account, Toda posted a picture of herself sleeping with her eyes closed, dressed as a female police officer playing a role in the drama. Her sleeping face was so angelic that many of her fans were entranced. However, Toda also posted a comment on this post saying, &#8220;I&#8217;m managing to fight sleep demons everyday&#8221; and &#8220;I&#8217;m not fighting anymore, I&#8217;m sleeping properly.
Toda has never compromised her work as an actress, revealing in a magazine interview that she once slept an average of two to three hours a night for several years. When I saw her sleeping in her shooting costume, I was worried that she might be pushing herself too hard.
Incidentally, Toda also showed a picture of her co-star Muro Tsuyoshi sitting on the sofa and sleeping in a prayer pose. The drama has reached its climax and everyone seems to be exhausted, perhaps it is the last spurt towards the final episode on September 15.
