The Lightning Visit of Rokudaime Yamaguchi-gumi’s Boss Tsukasa Shinobu and Executives Sparks Investigation Blitz
In the vast northern land, amidst ongoing turf wars, the top leader of the Rokudaime Yamaguchi-gumi descended.
In early spring, a biting cold wind swept through Tomakomai City in Hokkaido. On the morning of March 10th, a tranquil residential area was enveloped in a solemn atmosphere. Hokkaido Police deployed 100 investigators from the airport to various locations, and patrol cars circulated regularly. Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department and Hyogo Prefectural Police were also visible in the vicinity. Amidst the ultra-tight security measures, the gaze of investigators was directed towards a particular facility.
“As a matter of fact, on this day, the funeral of the fourth-generation chairman of the Seiuyukai, Tatsuya Watanabe, who also served as a direct participant in the Rokudaime Yamaguchi-gumi, is being held. Chairman Watanabe was a prominent figure based in Sapporo, and about ten years ago, he was promoted to a direct participant of the Rokudaime. With such a significant figure’s funeral, the top leaders of the Rokudaime Yamaguchi-gumi are attending in full force,” said an investigator.
In the afternoon, the atmosphere at the funeral hall became increasingly lively. Executives of the Rokudaime Yamaguchi-gumi began to appear one after another. Inside the hall, figures like Seiji Takayama (76), the Wakagashira, and Shomei Takeuchi (64), the Wakagashira-hosa, were visible. Investigators wielded cameras, capturing facial images of all attendees. Two metal detectors were installed at the entrance, ensuring tight security.
Then, at 3:30 p.m., Wakagashira Takayama and Wakagashira-hosa Takeuchi emerged from the funeral hall. The tension among the over 100 investigators escalated instantly. In the midst of this, a pure white luxury car arrived at the funeral hall. Stepping out was Tsukasa Shinobu, the boss, accompanied by several executives, leisurely making their way into the hall.
Boss Tsukasa stayed for about an hour, offering prayers for the deceased. As he emerged from the funeral hall, he exchanged words with Wakagashira-hosa Takeuchi and others before boarding the waiting car. Ten minutes after the boss left, Wakagashira Takayama also departed from the funeral hall. With this signal, the executives began to leave one after another for their return journey.
