Slurp, slurp, slurp!
It was Ren Nagase, 25, of &#8220;King &amp; Prince,&#8221; who was vigorously slurping down a bowl of tonkotsu (pork bone) ramen noodles at a famous restaurant in Shibuya Ward on a late February evening.

Before entering the restaurant, the driver of the pick-up truck checked the restaurant to make sure there were no customers. Since it was before dinner time, the restaurant was fully booked. He ordered another bowl of noodles, which he finished in about 10 minutes. Satisfied, he returned to his car and headed for the office.
&#8220;Nagase&#8217;s love for ramen is well-known, especially his fondness for rich and hearty flavors like &#8216;Yokohama-style.&#8217; He has been talking about his recent obsession with tonkotsu broth, so it seems he used it as a break from work,&#8221; said a TV station insider.

In addition to his activities with &#8220;King &amp; Prince,&#8221; Nagase has been delivering impressive performances, notably in the January drama series Arisu in the Kitchen (NTV), where he tackled a challenging role. He has been receiving high praise as an actor.

&#8220;Portraying a young man who interacts with the heroine with autism spectrum disorder, he&#8217;s showing delicate acting skills. Amidst the departure of popular members like Hirano Sho (27) from &#8216;King &amp; Prince&#8217; last spring, the agency seems to be seeking new opportunities for Nagase&#8217;s acting career, much like what happened with Meguro Ren (27).&#8221;

&#8220;After breaking out in the drama &#8216;silent&#8217; (Fuji TV), he&#8217;s now leading the group and the agency as a prominent talent. Taking this as a successful example, Nagase has already been cast as the lead in the film adaptation of a popular romance novel,&#8221; said entertainment reporter Chikako Komai.
