<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">In the early hours of February 26th, Tokyo Metropolitan Police arrested beautician Toshi Yamaguchi (31) from Nerima Ward, Tokyo, on suspicion of theft and other charges. Yamaguchi is accused of breaking into Salon A in Nakano Ward before 5 a.m. on the same day, stealing approximately 25,000 yen in cash and around 10 items such as hair bleach.</span></p>
<p><b>&#8220;Yamaguchi had been working at Salon A until January this year. In February, the salon manager consulted the police, saying, &#8216;The shop&#8217;s revenue is frequently disappearing.&#8217; Police officers were conducting surveillance when Yamaguchi appeared, leading to his arrest on the spot. It is believed that Yamaguchi used a spare key stored in a location known only to employees to gain entry to the shop,&#8221; </b><span style="font-weight: 400;">said a reporter from a national newspaper&#8217;s social affairs department.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Yamaguchi, who reportedly left Salon A to start his own business, confessed to the police during interrogation, revealing a shocking motive:</span></p>
<p><b>&#8220;I opened my own salon after leaving, but I didn&#8217;t have enough money. I had no savings.&#8221;</b></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Police suspect Yamaguchi may be involved in other crimes and are continuing their investigation.</span></p>
