<p> Shohei Ohtani, 29, received a rousing welcome from the enthusiastic crowd, reputed to be the &#8220;best in the world,&#8221; when he appeared at a Dodgers fan event held on their home turf on February 3.</p>
<p><span class="strongInContent"> The 35,000-strong crowd at the stadium was filled with cheers, and manager Dave Roberts (51), who was in attendance, looked pleased with his appearance. He quickly revealed his plan to use Ohtani at No. 3 in the opening game. He is the world&#8217;s greatest baseball player, but he didn&#8217;t want to be asked such a casual question as, &#8220;What is your favorite food? Fans were enchanted with Otani, who answered such casual questions as, &#8220;What&#8217;s your favorite food? In a class book in high school, Otani wrote, &#8220;The type of person I don&#8217;t like is someone with low tension,&#8221; so the high tension Dodgers fans must be a perfect match for him.</span></p>

<p> On the 5th, still in the excitement of the event, Ohtani arrived at the camp facility in Arizona ahead of the rest of his teammates and immediately began his voluntary training.</p>
