Surprisingly Expensive Piece of Shohei Ohtani’s Luxury Watch Shining on the Left Sleeve of His Tuxedo
First appearance at the SHO-TIME New York dinner since joining the Dodgers...dressed to the nines in a black shirt and dark blue tuxedo!
This man may be the best suited athlete in the world.
On January 28, Shohei Ohtani, 29, who won the A-League MVP award with the Angels last season, attended a dinner hosted by the New York chapter of the National Baseball Press Association. Ronald Acuña Jr. (26), the National League MVP, was also in attendance, but it was Otani who attracted the most attention.
Dressed formally in a shiny dark blue tuxedo, black shirt, and bow tie, Otani delivered a two-minute speech in English, more fluent than before.
After expressing his gratitude to the reporters and fans who voted him MVP, Otani referred to his six-year stint with the Angels. I felt Otani’s sincerity in the way he thanked the players, coaches, and all the staff of the team he left,” said a reporter who attended the dinner.
On the left sleeve of his tuxedo by the German fashion brand Hugo Boss, which he has worn privately since he was a young man and is now a brand ambassador, shone the SBGW295 (1,815,000 yen) by the Japanese watch manufacturer Seiko, also a brand ambassador.
Although it may seem modest for a man whose annual income from sponsorship alone is said to be about 10 billion yen, Otani is sure to be loved by baseball fans across the U.S. again this year because he never gets carried away with such a high position.
