It was a sunny autumn evening when we spotted former SPEED member Takako Uehara in her hometown of Okinawa. A handsome man resembling Toru Kazama was sitting in the driver&#8217;s seat of the black Land Cruiser that Uehara had shown up to pick up her two children at the daycare center where she takes care of them. The man was not her husband, but Mr. T, a businessman with whom she was having an affair. The following is a recap of details based on an article distributed on November 7, 2023 (ages and titles in the article are current at the time of publication).

The nursery school, located in the center of Naha City, Okinawa Prefecture, is known for its high awareness of the SDGs, including its commitment to high-quality childcare for the realization of the SDGs.
Local star and SPEED member, Takako Uehara (40), has her eldest son and daughter enrolled at the preschool, and the sight of her picking up and dropping off her children in her Volkswagen has become a bit of a local topic of conversation. Occasionally, a handsome man resembling Toru Kazama comes to pick up Uehara&#8217;s children.
For example, on a clear autumn evening a black Land Cruiser arrived near the nursery.
As soon as Uehara received her child from the childcare worker, she ran to him with a smile on her face, but the handsome man behind the wheel was neither her husband nor the children&#8217;s father.
An acquaintance of Uehara&#8217;s says that the handsome man was not her husband.
The attractive man is a businessman named Mr. T, who was her lover. According to the profile he shared during a seminar, Mr. T is from Kanagawa. After achieving significant sales as a salesman for a real estate company specializing in investment, he ventured out on his own. He is a diligent businessman who established his own real estate company in Okinawa.
What in the world is going on?
As mentioned above, Uehara took the world by storm with SPEED, which she formed with three members from her hometown. After the group disbanded in 2000, she worked as an actress.
She was in love with ISSA (44) of &#8220;DA PUMP&#8221; and Jin Akanishi (39), but in 2012 she married Tenn of the hip-hop group &#8220;ET-KING&#8221;. Just when it seemed she had settled down, tragedy struck in 2014 when her husband took his own life. About three years after the heartbreaking event, &#8216;Josei Seven&#8217; publicly disclosed TENN&#8217;s suicide note, revealing that the cause of his suicide was Uehara&#8217;s infidelity, leading to a major uproar. Uehara was almost banned from the entertainment world. Her husband, Mr. A, who was working as a stage director at the time, saved her.

<h2>Uehara left without leaving any whereabouts</h2>
Mr. A cast Uehara in a play he was directing and took it upon himself to protect her from the public&#8217;s intense bashing.
They married in 2018, and although Mr. A lost his job as a stage director and had to retire from show business, Uehara was blessed with a son and daughter, and was supposed to have a happy family this time around.

She took her two children and left home, not telling Mr. A where they were going, and started living in an apartment in the prefecture. Backing up her new life is her adulterous partner, Mr. T. They reportedly went on a trip to Fukuoka in August 2023, but since then, Mr. A hasn&#8217;t had proper contact with his children
FRIDAY flew to Fukuoka and witnessed the scene described above.

said a resident of the condominium where Uehara lives with her three children. On weekends, there are observations like, &#8220;Mrs. Uehara sometimes doesn&#8217;t come back after going out&#8221; (neighborhood resident), so she might have been going to Mr. T’s place. In late October 2023, when FRIDAY encountered Uehara in Okinawa, she was driving a shiny Audi, a car owned by Mr.T’s company.
After divorcing Mr. A, is this a new life that both parties agree on? Can we consider this as embarking on a new life with the affair partner appropriate from the perspective of the children&#8217;s welfare? We approached Uehara in Naha City, but she did not respond to any questions.
When we called Mr. A on the phone, he answered in a guttural voice, &#8220;I am separated from my wife.”
&#8220;I admit that I am living separately from my wife and that visitation with my children is being denied. However, it is absolutely not true that I got angry and resorted to violence as reported. As for the future, I am in discussions with my lawyer, so I would like to refrain from making further comments.&#8221;
While destroying the family through his own infidelity, he takes the child away for his own convenience and deprives the father and child of the opportunity to see each other. This is the same situation as table tennis player Ai Fukuhara (34), who received a temporary restraining order from the family court ordering her to hand over her child.
Is this the future that Uehara wants?

In mid-May 2023, &#8220;Beauty World Japan Tokyo 2023,&#8221; one of Japan&#8217;s largest international beauty trade fairs, was held at Tokyo Big Sight (Koto-ku, Tokyo). There, Uehara was serving customers at the event booth of REVI, a cosmetics brand for which she serves as a billboard. She looked more like a beautician than a singer in the white coat she wore as she politely served each customer, and she appeared to be very lively.
In July 2023, Bunshun Online reported that Uehara had consulted the police about domestic violence by Mr. A and that she was getting close to Mr. T. When Bunshun Online reported this, she stopped posting on her Instagram account and even closed the account itself, deleting all her posts.
It seems that Uehara has hardly been seen at the store in Naha City of the skincare brand she owns since before the coverage of FRIDAY, an entertainment agency executive said.

Despite the situation, the area where Ms. Uehara is based in Okinawa is a high-class residential area. There is a rumor that Mr. A, a businessman, is supporting her financially and she is living a comfortable life.
It seems that the phrase, &#8220;Even if you fall down, it won&#8217;t happen for free,&#8221; fits Uehara perfectly.
