<p> The U.S. Supreme Court of California is set to deliberate next February on the sexual abuse allegations against the now-deceased &#8220;King of Pop&#8221; Michael Jackson. The U.S. Radar Online reports.</p>

<p> Wade Robson, now 41, claims that he was invited to Michael&#8217;s famous Neverland Ranch in Santa Barbara, California, when he was 7 years old and was sexually abused by Michael while Michael&#8217;s sister, Janet Jackson, slept in a bed nearby.</p>
<p> Ms. Robson gained attention for her claims of sexual abuse in the HBO documentary film &#8220;Leaving Neverland&#8221; (&#8217;19), which featured allegations of Michael&#8217;s sexual abuse.</p>
<p><span class="strongInContent"> Michael&#8217;s family denied the allegations, but Ms. Robson filed a lawsuit against MJJ Productions and MJJ Ventures, Michael&#8217;s estate&#8217;s management organization. The case was lost in &#8217;21 when Ms. Robson&#8217;s suit was dismissed, but in August the California Court of Appeals drew attention when it dismissed the first trial court&#8217;s ruling and ordered a restoration of the case&#8221; (women&#8217;s magazine reporter).</span></p>
<p> Michael&#8217;s foundation appealed this decision to the California Supreme Court. Judge Mark A. Young decided to hear the case on February 28, &#8217;24. He is expected to deliberate on whether the Court of Appeal&#8217;s ruling is appropriate.</p>

<p> Ms. Robson claimed that Michael&#8217;s sexual abuse continued for seven years. According to court documents, Michael told Ms. Robson,</p>
<p><span class="strongInContent"> &#8220;People are ignorant and will not understand that we are in love with each other. If anyone ever found out, our lives and careers would be over.&#8221;</span></p>

<p>After Ms. Robson returned to her native Australia after a two-week stay in Neverland, she claims that it continued through faxes and frequent phone chats that lasted &#8220;hours every week&#8221; from Michael.</p>
<p> Michael, who died in &#8217;09 at the age of 50 from an overdose of the painkiller Propofol, called Ms. Robson &#8220;son&#8221; and told her to call him &#8220;dad,&#8221; according to the report.</p>

<p> Ms. Robson claimed that in &#8217;12, after suffering extreme stress, anxiety, fear, depression, insomnia, and other emotions, and after suffering multiple episodes of emotional distress, she finally realized that she had been systematically abused.</p>
<p> Michael&#8217;s family attorney, &#8217;12,</p>
<p><span class="strongInContent"> &#8216;This young man has stated in at least two depositions in court over the past two decades, as well as in numerous interviews, that Michael Jackson did nothing improper to him.</span></p>
<p><span class="strongInContent"> Now, nearly four years after Michael&#8217;s death, these sad and unreliable claims are being made. We are confident that the courts will see this for what it is.&#8221;</span></p>

<p> In addition to Ms. Robson, another person, James Safechuck, has also filed a lawsuit over Michael&#8217;s alleged sexual abuse, accusing him in the aforementioned documentary film &#8220;Leaving Neverland&#8221; of being a victim for many years. James&#8217; case is also expected to be discussed in February.</p>

<p><span class="strongInContent"> In 1993, Jordan Chandler filed a lawsuit against Michael for alleged sexual abuse of a young boy, and the case continued for seven years, with Michael&#8217;s side paying a huge settlement said to be as much as 4 billion yen to settle.</span></p>
<p><span class="strongInContent"> In 2003, Michael was arrested for allegedly sexually abusing another man, and the trial drew worldwide attention, but in June 2005, a verdict of not guilty was rendered.</span></p>
<p> It remains to be seen whether the California Supreme Court will decide to retry Michael&#8217;s sexual abuse case in February 2012.</p>
