Hitomi Tanaka, a TV TOKYO ace who “turns even Tetsuro Degawa’s happenings into laughs,” explains why she is loved for her “nonchalant attitude.
A dignified figure was spotted and photographed in Yokohama!
TV Tokyo’s 60th anniversary event was held at the Red Brick Warehouse in Yokohama from November 15 to 19. TV announcer Hitomi Tanaka (27) participated in the event as MC.
On the day of the event, event ambassador Tetsuro Izukawa (59) was also on hand to enliven the event together with the audience. During the event, Mr. Degawa’s voice was drowned out by the steam whistle coming from the Port of Yokohama, but Announcer Tanaka managed to turn it into a laugh, as expected from someone involved in the event.
In her fifth year with the company, Tanaka won the runner-up prize in “Miss Seijo University 2016” when she was in college. Only four months after joining the company, she was selected as the fourth assistant for “Moya Moya Sammers 2,” which is said to be the gateway to becoming a popular announcer.
Tanaka is not the flamboyant type, with a glamorous or bashful appearance. Nevertheless, she is popular as TV TOKYO’s ace announcer because of her attractive character and ability. In “Moyasama,” for which she serves as an assistant, she has adapted to the groove of variety, such as responding to the munchies of “Samaazasu” with a forward attitude.
At the same time, he pulls back where he needs to pull back in order to keep the show running smoothly. She will become an indispensable presence for TV TOKYO, which has fewer announcers with strong personalities than other stations.
The day when a national announcer will be born from TV TOKYO is near.
