One Day” (Fuji TV), a Monday 9 drama series that started in October, depicts the events of “just one day” on Christmas Eve over the course of a single season. The drama is a story of mystery, love, and miracles that depicts the events of “just one day,” Christmas Eve, over the course of a single season.

While some on social media have complained that the triple leads, Kazuya Ninomiya and Takao Osawa, “don’t make the most of their personalities,” the performance of the other lead, Miki Nakatani (47), has been receiving positive responses.

Kurauchi Kikyo, a local newscaster played by Nakatani, has a series of scenes where she runs around outside chasing a mysterious case. The high-tension acting she shows in these scenes and the scene in which she rides a bicycle at full speed have become the talk of the town.

She made her debut, surprisingly, in 1991 as a member of the idol group “Sakurako Club,” but in 1993 she made her acting debut in “Under One Roof” (Fuji TV), and quickly became an actress of the acting class. In 2006, she won the Japan Academy Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role for “The Life of Matsuko Hateful Matsuko.

As a singer, she collaborated with Ryuichi Sakamoto on “Suna no Kajitsu” in 1997, which became a big hit. With her translucent white skin, beautiful behavior, and bewitching charm that increases with age, she has gained a large following among women, and she is also sought after for commercials.

(A TV magazine editor) “FRIDAY” has been paying attention to Nakatani since he first emerged as an actor. We would like to introduce Nakatani’s bewitching charms by showing her drinking alone elegantly at an okonomiyaki restaurant, her arm date with Atsuro Watabe, and the beautiful legs she showed off at the award ceremony for “The Life of Matsuko the Hateful” …… with treasured photos.

A night at an okonomiyaki restaurant with an elegant wine glass and a “one-person” dinner

Early in the New Year of 2002, I encountered Miki Nakatani in Azabu (Minato Ward) at night. She got out of the office car and went into an okonomiyaki restaurant by herself. Naturally, I assumed that someone I knew would be in the restaurant first, but she was sitting alone at the counter, sipping a glass of wine.

That year, Nakatani appeared in NHK’s historical drama “Gunshi Kanbei. She played Hikaru (Teru), Kanbei’s regular wife. This night was the memorable day of the first broadcast. Drinking alone in the middle of that is ……. It’s too cool, isn’t it?

After enjoying the dinner alone, Nakatani left the restaurant and disappeared into the residential area at night with a relaxed gait, although she seemed to stagger from time to time, perhaps intoxicated by the wine.

In her personal life, Nakatani married German viola player Thilo Fechner in 2006. They continue to live between their two bases in Vienna and Japan. In an interview with a magazine, Nakatani said,

Since living in Europe, I have rediscovered the beauty of Japanese women’s gestures. The consideration for others that I feel in every aspect, from the way they stand and eat to the way they use the toilet paper, is the source of the beauty that shines through in Japanese women” (Bi-ST, January 29, 2011).

(“Bi-ST”, January 29, 2011). Her high level of consciousness must be applied to the scene when she pedals her bicycle. We can expect to see many mysteries unravel in “ONE DAY” from now on. We look forward to the future development of the film.
