Late-blooming “Tsuki 9” actress Yuki Sakurai’s rapid rise to prominence was triggered by a “bizarre” performance by a Hollywood actress.

Yuki Sakurai is currently starring in the Tsuki 9 drama “ONE DAY ~Kara no KARAKUZA~”.

Yuki Sakurai (36) continues to make rapid progress.

In the currently airing Tsuki 9 drama “ONE DAY ~Kara no KARAKUZA~” (Fuji TV), she plays a cheerful sommelier who works for a timid and nervous owner-chef (Takao Osawa).

She is a brilliant comedienne in this drama, but there are countless other characters she has played. She is so popular that it is safe to say that not a day goes by when she is not seen on TV.

She came to Tokyo from Fukuoka at the age of 19 to become an actress, but returned to her parents’ house after only one year. She then worked at a local restaurant before moving back to Tokyo at the age of 23. She then began to study acting in earnest, and began to build a career as an actor. This year, I was able to work in a variety of jobs, and when one job ended, I immediately played the next one, and sometimes I played two different characters at the same time.
