<p> On October 4, the Juvenile Development Division of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department arrested four men, including Atsumi Jun (37) and Sugiyama Fumiyasu (37), on suspicion of violating the Child Welfare Law (lewd acts). The Atsumi suspect is the manager of a dispatch-type JK refreshment shop &#8220;age8&#8221; in Toshima-ku, Tokyo. Sugiyama is the manager.</p>
<p><strong> In August 2010, the suspects allegedly forced a high school girl, A, who was 16 years old at the time, to perform indecent acts on a male customer in his 50s at a hotel. When the suspects interviewed Ms. A, she apparently altered the date of birth on her insurance card image and explained that she was 19 years old.</strong></p>
<p><strong> In about four months, Ms. A was with more than 70 male customers and earned about 800,000 yen. age8,&#8221; which allowed Ms. A to perform indecent acts on him, also sold about 110 million yen in about six and a half years.</strong></p>

<p> In November 2010, the police took custody of Ms. A, who had run away from home, in Toshima Ward, and the incident was discovered. The suspects, Atsumi and Sugiyama, have admitted to the crime.</p>

<p> There have been many cases in which girls in need of money in support of menunderground are involved in indecent cases. The following is a list of recent cases.</p>
<p> In January of this year, two members of a men&#8217;s underground group in their 20s were arrested. One of the men met a high school girl while handing out flyers on the street, invited her to spend a happy time with him, and then indecently assaulted her at a hotel. The other man had sexual relations with another high school girl multiple times in a private room of a concept café in Tokyo. The high school girls paid the men several hundred thousand yen or more in the name of &#8220;filming fees.</p>
<p> In April this year, the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department arrested a brothel manager in his 40s. He allegedly allowed teenage high school girls to work at his establishment without sufficiently verifying their age. The high school girls had been engaging in indecent acts with male customers in rental rooms as a &#8220;back-up option. They told the police that they needed the money to buy goods and live shows at the Men Underground.</p>
<p> Male idols and brothel operators who take advantage of the girls&#8217; weakness &#8230;&#8230;. The Metropolitan Police Department has been sounding the alarm, asking, &#8220;Are you sure about this &#8216;guessing game&#8217;? The Metropolitan Police Department is distributing fliers to schools in Tokyo to warn students to be careful about &#8220;men-underground&#8221; activities.</p>
