I’m really troubled by Pinko-san.

Screenwriter Sugako Hashida passed away in April ’21 at the age of 95. This is what a source close to the Hashida Cultural Foundation, which Ms. Hashida established in 1992, had to say. Pinko-san is, of course, referring to Pinko Izumi, 76.

Pinko-san said, ‘I was loved most by Ms. Hashida (Sugako) and I took care of her. So I am entitled to his inheritance.

Speaking of Pinko, she played the role of the mother of the main character Oshin in NHK’s television series “Oshin,” which aired from April 1983, and her acting ability was recognized and she gained high reputation as an actress. She was favored by Mr. Hashida, who wrote the script for the film, and became an indispensable actress in Hashida’s works, but her best known work is “Wataru Seken wa Oni Bakari (Wataru Seken wa Oni)” (TBS).

The two were close friends, traveling together in private, and after visiting Hashida’s home in Atami many times, they decided to buy a condominium in Atami and moved there. The two were seen as if they were father and son….

When Mr. Hashida passed away in ’21, trouble broke out over his funeral. In “Josei Seven” published the following year, Pinko wrote about Hashida’s funeral,

The total cost was 350,000 yen because it was done in a modest manner.

She said, “According to Mr. Hashida’s will, his ashes were scattered at sea on a luxury cruise ship.

According to a source close to Ms. Hashida, this was a complete lie. Furthermore, she also lied when she said that she alone took care of Mr. Hashida at the end of his life. We do not know why Pinko would tell a lie that could be easily discovered if she were investigated, but now she is demanding her inheritance, the source said. A person related to the aforementioned said, “She said, ‘There was a note in Ms. Hashida’s will.

All that was written in Mr. Hashida’s will was “I donate my property to the Hashida Foundation,” and everything, including his legacy, was to be given to the foundation, but Pinko is aware of this and is even saying, “Maybe Mr. Ishii is cheating somehow.

The foundation has former TBS officials on its board of directors, and it seems that Pinko is using TBS people who have her breath on their side to sway the foundation.

Ms. Ishii” refers to Fukuko Ishii (97), a TV producer, who is now freelance but worked as a producer of “Wataruki” when she was an employee of TBS and worked with Ms. Hashida for a long time. Ishii is also a member of the “Hashida family,” but it is unclear why Pinko is being singled out for criticism.

To begin with, was Mr. Hashida really close to Pinko?

When Mr. Hashida appeared on “Beat Takeshi’s TV Tackle” (broadcast by TV Asahi on December 24, 2005), he was asked about his relationship with Pinko and said, “We are not friends at all,” according to a wide-ranging staff member.

We contacted the Hashida Cultural Foundation to inquire about the facts,

When we contacted the Hashida Cultural Foundation about the facts, the foundation responded, “Pinko Izumi is not involved in the work of the foundation, and there is no such fact as you are asking about.
The foundation responded, “Pinko Izumi is not involved in the work of the foundation and there is no such fact as you have asked. Pinko’s office, on the other hand, did not respond. We wonder what Ms. Hashida is thinking behind the scenes.
