 On September 19, the Tokyo District Court held the first trial of Gershey (real name: Yoshikazu Azumaya), a former member of the House of Councillors, who was charged with five counts of violating the Violent Activities Act (habitual threats) and coercion for threatening actor Go Ayano and others via YouTube.

 During the trial, Ayano&#8217;s statement was read out by the prosecution.
