Akko ni Omakase! is out of the “Good TV show that should end” ranking…irony that it was saved by Ryoko Hirosue’s adulterous partner.

Ryoko Hirosue’s Favorability Increased Thanks to the Commotion?

I was honestly surprised that “Akko ni Omakase! (hereafter referred to as “Akko” on TBS) was out of the top ten, which was a surprise, to be honest.

On September 3, “FLASH” (Kobunsha) conducted a survey on long-running programs, asking “Isn’t it time to end the program? The most popular programs were “Tetsuko’s Interview” (TV Asahi), “Sunday Morning” (TBS), and “Welcome New Married Couples! (TV Asahi), but “Akko” was not even in the top 10, let alone the top 16.

To be honest, I thought ‘Sunday Morning’ or ‘Akko’ would be the right wing of the list. Especially on August 28 last year, 27 years after the program started in 1985, the viewer rating was 4.6%, the lowest in the program’s history (individual viewer rating was 2.5%). Akiko Wada is also 73 years old and has been suffering from eye and hip ailments in recent years, causing her to miss more and more shows. Even the people involved in the program seemed to think that this year would be her last,” said a sports newspaper reporter.

However, from around July, the viewer rating recovered from the latter half of 5% to the 6% range. In the past, the pattern was that if Wada said anything, social networking sites would go up in flames. What on earth has happened?

It was French chef Shusaku Toba, with whom Ryoko Hirosue (43) was having an affair. First of all, Wada mentioned them on his radio program on July 1 during the turmoil. Toba told a reporter from “Toso Web” who visited his restaurant on the same day, “I think (Wada) is not very smart. He says he is an opinionated person, but I wonder what he is.

The next day, Wada said in “Akko,

I’m sorry, I’m just a dim-witted opinionated person.

The next day, on “Akko,” Wada expressed his anger, saying, “I’m sorry. Some social networking sites attacked Wada,

Wada said, “You’re biting the wrong person.

Akko-san should be pissed at him for this.

Akko-san should be pissed off.

Since then, the tide has turned. As usual, there has been no shortage of criticism of Wada’s comments on the program, but at the same time, there has been a considerable increase in the number of supportive voices. I think one of the reasons for this is that in addition to the Hirosue fiasco, there has been an upsurge in entertainment news, such as the Johnny’s issue.

The fact that the survey was directed at 500 TV-loving women in their 30s to 50s, the main target audience of “Akko,” may have been significant, but the issues of infidelity among actresses and sexual assault are the topics that women dislike the most. I think they are paying attention to how Wada will comment on these issues.

On the “Akko” broadcast on January 10, Wada reported that she was going to be hospitalized for knee joint surgery, and many voices of support arrived on SNS. Some of them said, “Maybe she will be selected for Kohaku because of the empty slot for Johnny’s.” Some even said, “Maybe he will be selected for Kohaku because of the free slot for Johnny’s.

In the world of entertainment, you never know what will work out….
