I was doing research on heart regeneration until I got my master’s degree. I had been applying for modeling and singing jobs since I was a student,” she says. But at that time, I was pushing myself as a neat and tidy person. I was teaching science classes for children, so I thought it was not a good idea to dress too revealingly. However, after I joined COVID-19 crisis, my work was drastically reduced.
I happened to apply for a job as a race queen, and I was hired. I had a longing for sexy costumes, and my motto is to take everything seriously. I enjoyed doing it and gained confidence, so I started posting pictures of myself in a bikini on social media. Then I came up with the idea, ‘If I’m going to do this, I might as well post information about my favorite insect research and academia as far as I know! I came up with the idea.

On the other hand, parents of students in the science class said, “If you are a researcher from Tokyo University and have G-cups, everyone will look at them, and they will be interested in science. I am currently conducting research on the segregation of native butterflies and non-native butterflies after being selected by the Ministry of the Environment for an open position.
In order to earn money for this research, I also have to work hard as a TV personality. I also do sales to sponsors who support my entertainment activities on my own! In the future, I would like to be an “Insect Chan” like “Sakana-kun” (laughs).
