 Saya says, &#8220;Even though it was six years ago, I still get calls from people when I walk down the street saying, &#8216;I saw that show. I have been attending a Japanese language school since this spring and have learned hiragana and katakana, but Japanese is difficult. It makes me sad that I can&#8217;t speak well with people who approach me.

 The light blue-haired girl who speaks like this is influencer Saya Scarlett, the &#8220;Real Hatsune Miku.
 She first came to Japan in October &#8217;17 to participate in a Hatsune Miku event. At that time, she was interviewed at Narita Airport by TV Tokyo&#8217;s &#8220;What are you doing in Japan? She sang Hatsune Miku&#8217;s songs fluently, although she could barely understand Japanese, and became a topic of conversation along with her lovely appearance.

 She has produced more than 100 videos of herself in Hatsune Miku cosplay and is also active as a YouTuber. She dyes her hair, not with a wig, but with her natural hair. Many of her costumes are handmade, and when she was in Russia, she attended a clothing college and made Hatsune Miku cosplays.
 Now I study Japanese and edit videos by myself, so it&#8217;s hard to find time to make costumes,&#8221; she says. I buy them from a website for Chinese cosplayers.&#8221;
 One of his videos has been viewed more than 15 million times, but he says it is &#8220;not for profit&#8221; to clear up copyright issues, and he receives little money for it. In order to attend Japanese language school, he worked as a waiter at a Japanese restaurant and a post office operator in Russia to save money. She manages to make ends meet with her savings, her paid membership dues, and money thrown around.
 I have videos of me touring tourist attractions in Kyoto and Osaka without being Miku Hatsune, but I&#8217;m a little embarrassed to upload videos of the real me. From now on, I&#8217;d like to upload videos of my life in Japan, but I&#8217;m not sure if I should upload them without cosplay because it would be too embarrassing.&#8221;
 Because of this, she often cooks her own meals to save money. She cooks rice and eats it with raw eggs and natto (fermented soybeans). Pretending to be holding a knife, she laughs, &#8220;I cut green onions with a thump.
 I love Japanese food. I can&#8217;t find anything I don&#8217;t like. I grew up in Russia, where my mother told me not to leave food behind and not to have likes and dislikes. I can cook Russian, Japanese, and European food. But I live alone, so it&#8217;s hard to cook too much (laughs).
 Saya laughs cheerfully, but she met Hatsune Miku in a hospital bed when she was eight years old.
 She was hospitalized for heart disease. I had asthma and my eyesight was bad, so I got to know Hatsune Miku on my hospital bed, and she gave me the courage to live as an 8-year-old. I was in pain and crying all the time, but when I met Hatsune Miku, I learned that there is joy and fun in life. I put up videos on SNS in the hopes that I can bring this awesomeness to more people.&#8221;
 When asked how long she would continue cosplaying as Hatsune Miku, she immediately replied, &#8220;Forever.
 &#8220;Forever.&#8221;
 But then he furrowed his brow and continued, &#8220;My parents in Russia want me to work for a bank.
 My parents in Russia want me to work in a bank. My Russian parents want me to work in a bank, to have a solid job and a stable life, but I want to choose a path that excites me. But I want to take the path that excites me. I want to learn more Japanese and become a singer. Especially, I want to write and sing my own original songs. I want to write and sing songs to cheer people up, just like Hatsune Miku cheered me up when I was 8 years old.
