Around 3:00 p.m. on July 2, when the overcast weather spread, an employee of a love hotel in downtown Susukino, Chuo-ku, Sapporo, noticed something strange about a pair of men and women.

A middle-aged man and a young woman had checked in around 11:00 p.m. the night before. Only the woman left at 2:00 a.m., late at night, and the middle-aged man did not come out of the hotel room they entered. A suspicious employee knocked on the door, but there was no answer.

When the employee went to check inside the room, he saw a naked man cowering in the bathroom. When emergency personnel arrived at the scene, they found that the man’s head had been cruelly severed.

Immediately after the incident was discovered, there was no wallet, smartphone, or any other items left behind at the scene that could be used to identify the body.

They investigated the identity based on fingerprints taken from the body. Finally, from among the people who had been reported missing, the victim was identified as a male office worker (62) living in Wako-machi, Eniwa City, in Hokkaido. His wife, concerned about her husband who had gone out and not returned, reported him missing at around 10:30 p.m. on the night of March 3″ (reporter for a national newspaper).

The cause of death was diagnosed as hemorrhagic shock caused by multiple stab wounds to the body. There were no signs of a struggle, and his head appeared to have been severed postmortem.

The murdered man. He was attending a disco event in Susukino on the day of the incident.

Security cameras on the day of the incident showed a woman carrying a heavy suitcase that had entered the hotel with the man.

The woman was dressed differently when she entered the hotel and when she left. Her suitcase, clothes, and even her mask were all black. Her back was so thick that it looked like she was carrying a backpack. She was carrying a large baggage.

A total of 240 people were deployed to the investigation. About three weeks later, on the 24th, the Hokkaido Police Sapporo Chuo Police Station’s Investigation Division arrested Osamu Tamura, 59, a psychiatrist, and Runa Tamura, 29, a suspect with an unknown occupation, on suspicion of abandoning a corpse. On the following day, the 25th, the police also arrested Hiroko Tamura, 60, a part-time employee, who is the wife of Osamu and mother of Runa, on the same charge. The man’s head was kept at their home in Atsubetsu-ku, where the three of them lived, and was found in a partially damaged state.

The daughter, Runa, is believed to be the perpetrator of the murder, the father, Osamu, helped Runa escape by car, and the mother, Hiroko, is also believed to have been involved in the sequence of events.

A hotel in downtown Susukino, Sapporo, where the decapitated body of a man was found.

One of the great mysteries of this case is the “connection” between the deceased man and the suspect, Runa, who was more than 30 years older than the deceased.

Runa’s father was a psychiatrist, and she grew up in a financially privileged family. However, she had worked at a cabaret club in Susukino in the past. A person who had visited the cabaret club where the suspect worked said.

I met Runa-san when she was taken to a cabaret club in Susukino by a high school senior when I was back home in Hokkaido. She had long hair, was petite, and had a cute face.

As we talked about various things, I told her that I was suffering from a sleep disorder, and she told me that her father was a psychiatrist. His father seemed to take good care of him, so I had the impression that his family relationship was not bad. However, he did tell me that he kept it a secret that he worked at a cabaret club.”

The suspect Runa then started working at a brothel in Susukino.

Runa worked at a group store of the store where I work a few years ago. The business was a fashion health club based on the concept of nurses, and she was a popular cast member. She had a pretty face and was very responsive. She seemed to have been working two jobs at the same time, but she came to work frequently, three to four times a week” (employee of a brothel).

The deceased man was reportedly a regular customer at a long-established underground bar in Susukino. Runa may have had a connection with the suspect as he frequented Susukino at night. The investigation is awaiting further developments.
