<p> A teacher with a good reputation has been arrested again on charges of indecent assault on a young girl.</p>
<p> On July 4, the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department&#8217;s Nerima Police Station re-arrested Shigeyuki Imai, 70, who runs a cram school in Tokyo&#8217;s Nerima Ward. The incident is said to have occurred in March 2009. He is alleged to have put his hand inside her clothes, touched her and kissed her inside the school.</p>

<p><strong> On the day of the incident, it was the announcement of the girl&#8217;s acceptance to the school she had taken the entrance exam for. Imai is alleged to have lured the girl to the cram school and forcibly indecently assaulted her, telling her to come to the school to report her success or failure. The crime was committed before classes started. Imai denied committing the crime, saying that he did not commit the indecent act.</strong></p>
<h2> At a &#8220;second meeting&#8221; with a student: &#8230;&#8230;</h2>
<p> Imai, who graduated from Waseda University and taught at a private high school, opened a cram school for elementary and junior high school students in Nerima Ward about 35 years ago. Mrs. Imai also taught at the school, and her teaching was said to be very attentive and extremely popular among students and their parents.</p>

<p><strong> Imai was also arrested on suspicion of indecent assault in June of this year. The incident occurred in March. The suspect Imai was having dinner at a nearby restaurant with a group of women who were graduates of the cram school. One of the women he was fond of was Ms. A, who was in her 20s.</strong></p>
<p><strong> The suspect Imai invited only Ms. A to the cram school, saying, &#8216;Let&#8217;s have a second meeting. Once they were alone, Imai allegedly kissed and touched Ms. A, who was reluctant to go, for about an hour. At the time, Imai stated that he had committed an indecent act, but that he did not force her to do so.</strong></p>
<p> While investigating the case against Ms. A, the second arrest of a teenage girl also surfaced. Imai is alleged to have repeatedly committed indecent acts with women as old as his grandchildren. The police are investigating him for additional crimes.</p>
