It was Yukihira&#8217;s first time to throw out the first pitch, and she had practiced repeatedly right up to the pitch. She said, &#8220;I hardly touched the ball.</p>
<p><strong> I had hardly even touched the ball, so I practiced with a friend who had experience in baseball so that I could throw the ball as far and straight as possible. On the day of the game, I was learning how to throw from the team staff and managers until the very last minute.</strong></p>
<p> Despite all the practice, he was unable to throw as well as he would have liked on the day of the event.</p>
