 As the filming of NHK&#8217;s historical drama &#8220;Dousuru Ieyasu&#8221; reaches its climax, Matsumoto Jun (39) of &#8220;Arashi&#8221; fame, who plays the lead role in the drama, has been frequently spotted in the city at night.
 In April, Matsumoto Jun attended the birthday party of multi-creator Kunichi Nomura (50) held at a club in Tokyo. Nomura is the husband of model Mayumi Sada (45) and is well-connected in the industry.
 The party was attended by a distinguished lineup, including P. Yamashita (Tomohisa Yamashita, 38), Mariya Nishiuchi (29), Tadanobu Asano (49), Yosuke Kubozuka (44), and Yojiro Noda (37) of &#8220;Radwimps. The party went on until 4:00 a.m., and Matsujun came out of the restaurant feeling dizzy.

 Matsujun&#8217;s &#8220;love of drinking parties&#8221; is well known among those involved. It is said that he also attended the drinking party of Yoshikazu Azumaya (51), a former member of the House of Councillors known as Garcy, who was arrested for violating the Violent Acts Punishment Law (habitual threats). Last year, Gershie attracted attention as an exposé-type YouTube star, and his revelations about the backstage of actors and idols with whom he had interacted shook the entertainment world, but Matsujun was largely unscathed.

 The filming of &#8220;Dousuru Ieyasu&#8221; is different from previous Taiga dramas in that it makes extensive use of computer graphics, which sometimes extends the filming hours to late at night, and it has been reported that the filming is quite grueling. In contrast, many viewers feel uncomfortable with the slender, modern-looking Matsujun playing Ieyasu.
 Furthermore, compared to the powerful performances of Junichi Okada (42), who plays Nobunaga Oda, and Hiroshi Abe (59), who plays Shingen Takeda, Matsujun&#8217;s performance is lacking and feels hazy. Although the ratings have remained in double digits, they seem to lack excitement. I think it is a stressful situation for Matsujun in many ways, so this may be the best he can do for a change of pace.
