<p>In early June, there was a woman elegantly dressed in a navy pants suit in Otemachi street. The woman with fair skin and a bright smile was actress Fuka Koshiba (26).</p>
<p>She was filming a scene for a new TV series, &#8220;Shokujo no Maou-sama&#8221; (Fuji Television Network), which is scheduled to air in July.</p>
<p>Koshiba is a popular actress who has appeared in more than six movies and TV dramas from 2022 to 2023. Entertainment reporter Takayuki Joshita explains the reason for her popularity in the industry.</p>

<p><strong> Since she entered the entertainment industry at the age of 14, she has experienced about 10 years of working her way up through the ranks, so she has a sense of stability in handling long-term work. Another reason is that Koshiba&#8217;s fees are not too high compared to leading actresses such as Haruka Ayase (38), for TV stations that want to keep production costs down.</strong></p>
<p>One after another, senior actresses have gone independent, and she is now the office&#8217;s breadwinner. There are concerns about her health and maintaining her motivation.</p>
<p><strong> She appears in every cool drama and her fatigue is at its peak due to the daily filming. She also has less time to spend with her family, which she loves, and this leaves her feeling mentally uneasy. However, she must be thinking, &#8216;I don&#8217;t want to miss my chance,&#8217; because of her indomitable spirit cultivated through figure skating, which she learned in her childhood. Perhaps she is proud of the fact that she is taking on the mantle of the office in place of Aya Ueto (37), who has been curbing her workload.</strong></p>
<p>It is likely to be a breakthrough year for Koshiba, who combines the spirit of an actress with the spirit of an athlete.</p>
