Ruriko Kojima married a venture company president, but her husband, who is two years younger than her, has a surprising reputation.
Ruriko Kojima (29), a.k.a. Kojiruri, who had been studying abroad in China, resigned from her agency in February of this year and got married in March, as revealed in a scoop by Bunshun Online.
Her husband is Kota Kitamura, 27, the president of “Habitat,” a sauna business. He is two years younger than Kojima and is the president of a venture company, and Kitamura has been using the surname “Kojima” since they decided to get married.
He said, “There are some venture business owners who are ‘highly conscious of going public,’ some who are ‘buyout types’ who sell their companies at a high price after a certain level of growth,’ and some who are ‘people who just want to do things with their friends. Kitamura is the third. Mr. Kitamura is the third. He was running a company modestly with his friends from school. In the venture business world, I didn’t stand out that much. He became a topic of conversation when he was rumored to be dating Kojiri.
In an interview with Bunshun Online, Mr. Kitamura readily admitted that he had joined the company.
I heard that their relationship was well known among their friends,” said a venture company official. I heard that Mr. Kitamura told people at drinking parties that he was dating Kojiruri. They had been wearing wedding rings since March.
After joining the family register, Mr. Kitamura immediately changed his company registration to “Kojima” and changed his surname to “Kojima. His decision surprised those around him.
Kitamura’s family is a Noh actor with a long history. I thought he would eventually follow in his father’s footsteps, so I was surprised. I was surprised because I thought he would eventually follow in his father’s footsteps.
Married to the president of a venture company. That may sound glamorous, but it was Kitamura who benefited from this marriage, not Kojima.
Kojima’s hobbies include golf and cars, and she was famous in the entertainment world as an “uncle killer. Her close connections with big-name celebrities and major corporations will be of use to Kitamura’s business. Just the fact that Kojiri is his wife is enough to make a story. Since he was preparing to study in China, he also has connections with celebrities and influential local people with ties to China. Babel, an Internet advertising company of which Mr. Kitamura was a co-founder until 2008, was targeting the Chinese market. Since Mr. Kitamura is still involved in the video advertising business in China, this marriage is mutually beneficial” (Kojima’s acquaintance).
Kojiri has been a model, an actor, an idol, and a very popular manga artist. Her final choice of “business partner” is a wise decision.
